Upscale feel at a great price . . .

Unexpectedly luxurious, considering the affordable price. Both the rooms and gardens are done in exceptionally good taste (kind of "far from the madding crowd" South-Seas-in-style) and cosy at the same time. The pool, lawn chairs, loungers and surrounding grounds are always clean (loved swimming at night, underlit, looking up at the flowers, trees and sky). Bathrooms, linen and towels, superb. The hosts were friendly and helpful, without encroaching on my privacy. Great Northern European breakfast, always-fresh rolls and coffee, superior jellies and meats at a thoughtfully set table. Fresh flowers everywhere. What I liked most (have returned) was that it was a place to rest in style, surf the web, work or just veg out.

un lugar muy calido en un barrio hiper tranquilo

La casa de Claudia y Karl tiene 3 habitaciones para tomar, esta ubicada como a 3 km del centro de punta del este, ubicada en un barrio muy tranquilo. Solo para 9ersonas que andan con vehiculo. El estacionamiento del mismo es en la calle propiamente. El lugar es muy seguro. La habitacion del primer piso es espaciosa, con un baño con yacuzzi, la ropa de cama y toallas impecables. La calefaccion es de piso radiante, muy calido. El desayuno super abundante y variado servido en el comedor ppal de la casa. Los dueños super cordiales y atentos a las necesidades de sus huespedes. Hablan ingles, alemán y un poco de español.
Un unico problema, la habitacion de abajo donde se hospedaron mis amigos tenia olor a humedad y la estufa a leña del living largaba olor en esa estancia. Pero super recomendable para aquellos que les gusta estar en lugares como si fuera su casa en lugar de hoteles
