Even with renovations underway, the place was fine. Some upkeep/maintenance was needed in the room we had - 117. The price was higher than what I would expect from such a place, but there isn't that much competition in Winterset.

In the middle of renovations but was hardly noticeable. Everyone was super kind and friendly. Very quiet. Decent breakfast in an out of the way room.

It was nice and clean had no ice. The breakfast was really good. The room was nice and updated.
