The staff were super friendly, Youssef from the bar was incredibly hospitable, the complimentary gym membership down the street was clutch.

Overall, this stay with OK at best. Upon arrival, no one was at the front desk and the person who ended up helping was not very friendly. Staff at front desk seem to always be on their phones or not interested in providing warm hospitality, The rooftop bar is incredibly loud at night and it was really disappointing to have to share elevators with those going to the rooftop. I wish there was a water refill station somewhere in the hotel. This stay had me wishing for more.

Almost a bad review — until the last five minutes

I booked two nights through Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts, looking forward to the F&B dining credit. Weather and cancelled flights meant I only made it in for the second night — not the hotel's fault, and I didn't ask for any changes. But by check-in the credit was unusable, since the restaurant only serves dinner. So the following morning, before checking out, I asked David at the front desk whether I could use it on the evening of the checkout (since I had a late flight out). I got a flat no, delivered with real attitude and no acknowledgement of the situation. It's been a while since I received such a rude and nonchalant attitude from someone in hospitality.
Then, as I was actually checking out, I met Johnny. He asked how my stay had been and picked up on my shrug with a "its ok"and immediately picked up on it and asked why. When I explained, he immediately said it could be arranged, invited me back for dinner, and even walked me over to the restaurant himself to make sure the team looked after me. It instantly turned everything around for me.
The room was lovely — comfortable, well designed, everything working as it should. But it's Johnny I'll remember. He understood what the other front desk didn't: guests judge you by how you handle the moment things go wrong. That one interaction erased the bad taste entirely and is the reason I'd come back to SixtyDC!

The property was nice overall from a design, service, and cleanliness perspective. Our main issue was the noise. There is a rooftop bar at the property, and on Saturday night, they played loud club music until 2 a.m. (and until 10 p.m. on Sunday), which made it difficult for us to sleep.
We wish they had informed us about this prior to booking, as we would have avoided staying here over the weekend.

Wonderful Hotel to stay in DC.

This hotel will be surprised to you once you arrive. Very nice hotel that is clean and wonderful, happy staffs. The room was very clean and comfortable. The food was outstanding. The web site doesn't mention Breakfast menu which I think it for the hotel guests. It will show the lunch and dinner menu. The parking only for the valet which is $65.00 a day. We were there to get together with my wife cousin and husband who are from norther Wales.
