5 star stay

Amazing! Clean rooms! Private patio area. Uncrowded pool. Daily HOMEMADE breakfast options. Staff is kind and helpful. Also enjoyed the daily, afternoon social. Close to downtown. Bay views!!! Seen dolphins, crab, fish and birds daily.

Not worth the money

Not worth the money. Rotted deck overlooking the river with no railing, watch that first step! Pool deck needed paint and weeding. Zero landscaping. Walk out of the room onto a level pad and take one step down to a pad that tilts to the parking lot. 3 times I almost ended up on my ass. Painted the same color and no caution markings about the slanted step. Had to put a towel down under the air conditioner because it leaked all over the floor. We will definitely return

Location was perfect! Even in FL summer heat it was an easy walk over the bridge to enjoy St Augustine without the worry of finding/paying for parking. Loved sitting on our private back deck watching the activity on the water. Sunset views can't be beat. The hotel is older, but staff keep it exceptionally clean. The provided breakfast and evening social hour were an added bonus and the food was very good. My only negative is that they leave security lights on both in front and out back which light up your room, I would like to see them add blackout curtains.

Delightful stay at Edgewater Inn

We enjoyed our stay at Edgewater Inn because the room and facilites were so clean, the staff was helpful, the breakfast was yummy and the parking was easy.

The hotel is rundown and everything was broken. Maybe noone told anyone or they didnt care. The ac was barely keeping cool not even cold. The TV remote was broke. The keurig was broke. Bed frames were laying the parking lot. Never seen such an awful place im so embarrassedi rented this for my family.. Dont stay here!
