I was warmly welcomed and quickly checked in. The room was nicely appointed, clean, and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again as the opportunity arises.

What a WONDERFUL stay we had at the Cactus Inn! We got a room last minute, later in the evening, and they had my key ready in a box when we got there! It was such a simple check- in after a a long drive...much appreciated.
The room itself was clean and had such cute character. We loved the table and chairs outside the room, and the bench at the end of the beds for our bags. They even had waters and popcorn for us!
We will definitely stay there again as we travel Rt 66.

Like stepping back in time..

We wanted to stay in a real Route 66 motel on our way from Taos to OKC. The woman at the front desk was welcoming & really nice. The room was clean & after turning the window a/c down, it was nice & cold. The beds were comfy & the complimentary water & popcorn were a nice touch. We were able to walk to the Red River Steakhouse & had a great meal with free peach cobbler. Our room was very quiet & we slept well. This is a great place to stop for the night. The only reason I took one star off of the rating is that the shower had not been cleaned (there was an opened shampoo packet, used bar of soap & hair on the floor). Would def stay again (& prob take a pkg of bathroom cleaner sheets).

Great little spot to stop on a road trip. The room was clean and comfortable and so quiet! Check in and out was very quick and easy. I’ll definitely keep this place in mind for my trips across i40

Short but sweet stay; perfect little stop on our roadtrip. Place was clean, staff was very accommodating. It was a lovely Inn.
