Great concept

This hotel has a great concept for those that are looking for a long term stay. The room comes with a lofted space, a huge smart TV, as well as all the needed works of a kitchen. The beds were brand new and were stated to be from Ashley Furniture. The building is a converted storage unit but is all brand new furniture and appliance. Staff mentioned it has been open for a year, so nothing is outdated! Staff was very friendly and very accommodating.

Unique and Spacious

The hotel/motel is literally a pole shed that has been made into a motel. However it works! The rooms are plenty big and the beds are really comfortable. The only knock that I believe can be given to the facility is its location. It is a almost semi industrial area of town which makes sense as the we found out the building used to be part of a lumber yard. For the price of the stay however it was worth the price and the lady at check in was very nice and accommodating.

Nice

It is a converted storage unit with a great bed and awesome amenities. Fridge and stove and microwave. Big tv on a swivel and tall ceilings with nice decor. Not to mention the huge loft area. I was happy here. Stayed for 3 weeks and really like it. Wifi was super fast

Converted Storage Unit

I was in Mankato for business and needed a fully furnished rental for 13 weeks. Located in the industrial area of town, because it's REALLY a converted storage unit turned studio suites, there's nothing interesting within walking distance.
I stayed in unit 28, overlooking the rental storage units next door. The Riverfront Studio Suites claims to be furnished, but that only means bed/TV and couch. There are no kitchen wares to use in the kitchen and their Wi-Fi doesn't work. You can't go to the front desk for help,, because there is no onsite staff or management. Because you're in a storage unit even though the building has a "Hotel" sign on the front.
I am giving 2 stars for cleanliness and creative use of storage units. Unique business model. I don't know who the target market is since people seeking apartments don't need beds, etc and business travelers need fully furnished. I would suggest they provide more basics, maybe hairdryers and a coffee pot at the very least.
If you want to live there be prepared to bring all your pots and pans, etc. and to have to use McDonald's Wi-Fi.
