All staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy and the bathroom, whilst small, was clean with good shower. Fan in room for hot day was a bonus. Breakfast was outstanding!! Nice park opposite was good for a stroll. Handy for footy. Posada in town for away fans with no colours. Uber only around £5 from station or 20 minute walk.

A wonderful place to enjoy afternoon tea

Had their 'pretty posh afternoon tea' for two there yesterday, and it was amazing. It really was a superb experience and one I'd recommend to anyone.

Fantastic

Stayed here once before and to be honest, I should of shared my thoughts then.
As a medical rep travelling up and down the country, its hard to find a hotel thats safe, quiet and in walking reach of everything you'd need.
The owner of the hotel is great, very polite and caring.
The hotel itself, although having a little work done, did not disturb me in the slightest and is extremely clean.
Bedrooms are spacious, fully equiped with tea, coffee, shower gel, shampoo and the all important iron and ironing board.
You can have a beer in the bar and an evening meal, which again is nice.
The choice of breakfast is great and the timing its served is excellent.
Secure very large gated parking is free of charge situated around the back of the hotel.
The town is a ten minute walk and the neighbouring park with a lake and gym equipment with a lovely path around is only three minutes.
The question is, would I stay again, 100% yes.

Good location with free parking. Very good breakfast and friendly staff. Rooms could do with some updating.
