Peace at the end of the world

I visited with a friend at the end of June, and I'm sure I speak for both of us when I say that this was one of the most peaceful and tranquil places we've ever been to. It felt undisturbed by time and civilisation, and it functioned as the perfect antidote to a faster paced life south of the border. Jaime was very welcoming, as was her charming dog, and she made every effort to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The rooms were quaint and well-suited to the rugged Scottish aura of the surrounding landscape, which was so wonderfully viewable from our skylight. The croft is even next to an untrodden beach, so it's effectively an exclusive pre-packaged paradise. I only wish I could revisit with the same sense of wonder and ignorance that I had when we first arrived.
I think I'll be a frequent visitor to the Highlands for years to come.

A little gem.

Excellent 3 night stay,very clean and comfortable. Beautiful view across the Loch to Ullapool. No breakfast is available but fridge, toaster and coffee/ tea /hot chocolate making provided. 30 minute walk into town perfectly achievable. Rhue lighthouse and coastal walk not too far away. Recommended and good value.

Tip Top in every way.

Croft 17 was a real gem of a find. Jamie, the host was an absolute superstar and was the cherry on top. She was welcoming and friendly and kind - just what you need when you are a million miles from home.
Her guest house was clean, tidy, modern and beautiful in every way and she couldn’t have been more welcoming.

Fantastic place

Jamie you should be proud of what you have achieved
The accommodation was spacious it was immaculately clean and comfortable.
The bathroom was brilliant, there was just nothing you could fault.
There was a large tv and lovely views from the window. Very quiet, perfect nights sleep. We didnt have breakfast but went to the golf club which was 2 minutes away in car.
Very highly recommended, luxury room at a budget price.

Jamie (the owner) is really helpful and very friendly. The room was clean and well equipped and very comfortable. Lovely breakfasts. Even the other guests were a delight to breakfast with.
We would stay here again anytime. The only downside was the weather but there wasn’t much we could do about that.
