A real gem in Rye

This is a real gem in the heart of Rye. We booked three rooms for an overnight stay, and each room was beautiful, with views over the historic Main Street. The breakfast is wonderful, with nothing being too much trouble - the staff were so welcoming and helpful. We will certainly return!

Alright, ruined by a rude worker

The atmosphere was lovely, and the drinks and food were pricey though that's expected in Rye. We were sat down by a lovely young waitress with red hair who was absolutely fantastic, very welcoming and warm, and made sure that we were settled. However, when we went to pay we encountered an older woman who was simply so rude. She approached us with a poor attitude and treated us horribly whilst everyone else around was treated fantastically. She was very passive aggressive and seemed to fumble around with the till whilst her coworkers were rushing around trying to keep up with all of the customers.
Overall, the food was a delight and the majority of the staff were lovely, our experience was just dampened by that one lady.

Great catering for a birthday party

Corey and the team catered for my recent birthday party at home. They were very helpful, pleasant and efficient. The food was excellent, varied and plentiful and they provided a lovely birthday cake. We thoroughly recommend them.

Afternoon Tea with a view!

Booked an afternoon tea here at Hayden’s today, it’s a shame we would sit outside it was a lovely day but slighty windy. We had a nice table by the window, the food was absolutely outstanding and very good value, freshly made sandwiches, warm scones and a piece of cake which we took home. The tea was fairly weak as it was leaves, the only slight disappointment which I havent marked down was our server, very miserable and felt like she didn’t want to be there, service was still good but just not very friendly sadly.

Light Lunch

Very nice cafe, with cheery atmosphere. .
Staff very helpful & pleasant.
We stopped for a light lunch the food was good.
Beautifully decorated loo though extractor fan didn't seem to be working.
Very nice crockery Made in England except for the teapot made in China.
There are British made teapots about.
