A lovely meal at the George Inn.

Had a lovely meal at the George Inn. Staff were very friendly and everyone made us and our dog feel welcome. The food was excellent and there was a great variety of choice on the menu. As a coeliac I was very impressed with the choice on the Gluten Free menu. The staff appeared knowledgeable about allergies and I felt I was in good hands! The meal was delicious and good value too. Thanks to the George for a very enjoyable evening.

Great food, great value.

Such a lovely pub. Seating inside and outside is comfortable, clean and excellent condition. Menu is excellent- fantastic value and high quality food. Service is excellent. Not pushy, friendly and attentive. I will be coming back very soon

Jamaican Evening

We were interested in attending one of the Jamaican evenings. The menu and food were really good. The staff friendly as usual. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

Weekend visiting Longleat

The location is beautiful. Mere is a lovely village and within a short drive of Longleat as well as National Trust sites.
