Harbour Moon is a must as food delicious & staff amazing.

Me & my friends (6) popped into the Harbour Moon for something to eat. We all had the roast dinner. I had belly of pork & it was delicious. Lovely crisp crackling as well. It included roast potatoes, mash, Yorkshire pudding, parsnips, & veg. A couple of my friends had Beef & a couple had Chicken. The gravy came up in two large gravy boats so you can put as much or as little gravy as you want. We all enjoyed our roast & the portions were very generous. Will definitely go back whenever I visit Looe in the future.
All the staff were very nice & couldn’t do enough for you. Well done Harbour Moon.

Food poisoning

A group of us visited this establishment on December 27th for food. 3 of us from our group got food poisoning from eating the same/similar meals. I strongly urge you avoid this place for food. It's overpriced to start with and it came with the added cost of vomiting and diarrhoea!

Food poisoning

I've just come home from what was supposed to be a weeks holiday in the Looe area. Me and my family had to return early as for the last 4 days I've been suffering dreadfully with food poisoning, which I've narrowed down to eating at 'Harbour Moon' in Looe.
I have to say that unfortunately the food poisoning isn't my only complaint of the establishment, despite my holiday being ruined.
The staff were unfriendly upon our arrival, one bar man and he was sat on his phone. Everything seemed too much effort for them, we asked to be seated in the restaurant as the bar area was noisy, but we were told no, seemingly because cleaning a table in another room was too much hassle.
The food was desperately underwhelming and overpriced.
I had the curry and spent 4 days and nights now with sickness and diarrhoea.
Awful place, Awful service, Awful food. Avoid at all costs!

Upsetting

On arrival at this B &B we were told that due to a miss understanding and that we could not stay at this B &B. And asked to leave. But still took full payment of £224 out of my account.
Have tried on several occasions to get in touch vi email and phone. But they have not replied. And booking.com. have also tried to get in touch. To no avail. I would avoid this place . Not a very good place

Lovely pub , staying there not so lovely

Owner was not welcoming at all so first impression not good
Rooms are dated , terrible mattress with no support whatsoever, woke up with back pain every morning.
Great view from the window though .
3 nights was just too much , it’s okay for one over night stay . Fellow guests thought the same about their room / bed too
The bar/restaurant is cosy quirky and inviting and the young bar staff were friendly . Had one meal there which was very nice
