Basic but everything we needed. Was a great stay. Worked for us with dog.

So no staff, entry through back door, wouldn't use as a single traveller. Sash windows, top doesn't open, bottom only which didn't feel very safe. Room well cleaned, TV, kettle drinks, bathroom spotless. Just the odd access.

I've stayed here previously. It's a shame this place isn't a functioning pub anymore. Shame to see it go down hill. That said, the room was cheap and basic which reflects the property.

Really couldn’t be more impressed.
We were expecting the typical room above a pub, but it was incredibly comfortable, clean and ideal for our stay in the lakes at the bank holiday.
Absolutely well worth the money!!
The bed was one of the best beds I’ve slept in… so impressed: we will be back.

Basic but functional stay. Completely acceptable for the price you pay. Digital access to building and room worked well and I assume keeps costs down. More of our closed down pubs should be converted along the lines of this model. Absolutely fantastic pub just across the road with great food, beer and vibe. Completely fine for a one night stop.
