Check in was automated in a good way and seamless, staff were friendly and although the hotel was built in the 1300's the rooms were very modern and clean. Food in the restaurant was excellant and reasonably priced and the selection of beers in the bar was amazing - we had a great stay and would definetly book to go again.

Comfy bed tiny electric shower cubicle with poor water pressure and cheap aqua panelled walls had a feel of a hostel

Lovely period property in a convenient area.

Rooms are clean and comfortable. Bathroom offers minimum amenities (1 bottle of body wash and shampoo), and for some reason there was no hot water in basin or shower in the morning! Breakfast ordered from menu, so it's freshly made. Although difficult to contact/get response via email initially, staff were helpful in returning lost property item to me which was much appreciated! Would recommend staying here if in area
