Decent location and fun lobby games

Stayed here for a short trip to Bristol and it was very good. Hotel is comfortable and the games in the lobby - connect 4, pool, darts, table football - were good fun
Room 120 was spacious - we had a double in one room and a sofa bed in the other space. Bathroom was accessible. Curtains were slightly broken (curtain ends coming off the track) and so tricky to get a proper “seal” which was a bit of a faff but important for first floor with houses opposite
Breakfast was good - and decent vegan options (recommend the pancakes). The chairs in the dining room need a bit of a clean though.
Staff were friendly and we would stay again
Parking is over the road - reduced to £14 for guests.

This is a decent hotel, Burt not great. The stand-out aspect is the staff, who are very helpful, friendly and welcoming. I even watched a poor bar person display amazing patience at the late-night bar with some drunk corporates.
However, I was surprised how small the room, and particularly the bathroom, was - the bathroom had 'just' enough room for one person to move around in, and the room had a few hangers, but nowhere else to store clothes, such as underwear - I ended up putting quite a few things on the windowsill, as there was nowhere else. The room also lacked a fridge and a chair to work at the small desk (there was a sort-of bench stuck to the wall, but it wasn't really usable).
Overall - cool and funky to look at, and ok for a one-night stay, but I wouldn't want to spend a lot of time there.

Good location

Good hotel in the centre of town. Expected it to be noisy, but was quite the opposite.
Central for shops, bars and eateries.
Comfortable room and check in was easy if not very busy.
No parking at the hotel, but there is a big carpark across the street,

Dear Juannmill,
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a review!
We’re really happy you enjoyed the location and, even better, that you found the hotel nice and quiet despite being right in the centre of Bristol. It sounds like you made the most of having the shops, bars and restaurants all close by.
It’s also great to hear that you found the room comfortable and check-in nice and easy. And thank you for mentioning the parking across the road it’s really helpful for other guests to know there’s a convenient option nearby.
We’d love to welcome you back next time you’re in Bristol!
Kind regards,
Praveen
