False pricing, nasty host, Awful experience.

So upset. I stayed 1 night, through booking.com. Room okish, lots of work vehicles and electric charging points right outside the door (bad parking for non EV). On departure, I received an accusatory text saying had I ‘failed to declare my dog’ and charging me £20 for him staying! I had input 1 adult and 1 pet on booking.com. When room searching, Therefore assumed I was paying for us both. I was then threatened with the ‘small claims court’, called a liar. Just an awful unpleasant service within 1 hr of leaving the accommodation!! I never knowingly hide my pet or do not pay for him. However, £20 would make this stay £88 rather than £68..a considerable increase! So very upsetting. I travel lots with my dog and for work, and have never been treated with such contempt.
Also, the breakfast leaves a lot to be desired! A small cereal box and a dry wrapped supermarket croissant. All a nasty CON. DO NOT go with a pet!!! . I would advise not to go full stop following such an awful host experience.

I have no words.

We arrived. Key in the door to a freezing cold room, cob Webb’s all over the light and dust in all the bathroom. Fine I can deal with that what I can’t as a repeated visited customer but now visited for the last time is be bagged on at 11:10 (check out is 11am) to be told HURRY UP by the owner and then to be told we shouldn’t be in this room as it’s not a dog room. Well you bloody put me in there, like my last bookings 2 adults 3 dogs and more to then point “curly dog tail accommodation” thag isn’t dog friendly. Pot kettle !!
You clearly didn’t recognise us this morning but that was the last time we will visit. Sadly lost a repeated client. Also a Clint that was looking to rent the main house this year.
