Incredible

The hotel is right in the jungle, amazing. The rooms are all different, which gives it a unique touch. It has a good pool and a super slide in the restaurant area. Very good breakfast. The monkeys were companions during the morning.

We stayed at this hotel in February 2024
No staff interest in guests
Complete indifference
There is no service - no service
The pool is filled with muddy water. The water smells like bleach.
The dinner was just terrible, what a service!
The staff doesn't understand any language, not even Thai.
We hit rock bottom in terms of the terrible quality of service

Room wasn't great

The room we were given had a mouldy smell. The heat pump blew directly towards the bed which made it a bit uncomfortable. We had an adjoining unit and we could hear everything from next door quite clearly. Food was good and service was reasonable. Staff was friendly and could speak English. The river was murky from the rain so it wasn't pretty to look at. The resort was under the canopy of trees and have a real nature feel.

Rustic Retreat set between 2 National Parks.

RainForest offers cabins and cottages spread along a rocky hillside overlooking the Khek River.
A sleepy ambience, with bar, restaurant, lounges and riverside platforms slowly being enveloped by vines and the forest.
Environment friendly, with an associated organic farm.
Caters mostly to Thais escaping city heat. Kayaking and river rafting options.
A five minute walk to Kaeng Song waterfall.
Charming manageress Phanee speaks excellent English.
At Km 276 on Hwy 12, 43 Km from Phitsanulok. Lom Sak or Phetchabun buses will stop in front of the hotel.

One night stay

We stayed there one night, halfway on our trip from Chiang Mai to Kalasin. Nice place, good atmosphere and confortable little bungalows. Don't know to much what to do around there as we just stayed one night but in Thailand you can always find stuff anywhere.
