Paradise

The beach is super beautiful, with the pond on the side, kayak available, very family friendly, the team is too kind, the restaurant is super good.
The place is soothing, for a mental rest I recommend this place really, it’s cheap more.

A little paradise!

Located south of Ko Kood Island, Rim Lay is a small family-run hotel. It is located right next to the beautiful beach (one of the most beautiful on the island in my opinion) and has only a dozen Bungalows including some facing the sea. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the attached small restaurant offers good food, simple and inexpensive.
You can also rent scooters, which is my Recommendation if you want to visit independently and without any problem the beautiful beaches of the island, the fishing village and the waterfalls of the interior. Bungalows are simple and unpretentious but, clean and well laid out with a good shower and toilet. The manager speaks good English and works for transfers and bookings of ferries to the mainland (Thailand and Cambodia) or to the nearby island of Ko Chang. The time I stayed was not the best (and I was aware of it ..) and so the sea was always rough enough and not ideal for swimming. It is a structure in my opinion suitable for people with no frills and couples who like to enjoy nature and the sea, since in the immediate vicinity there are no centers worthy of the name. I did not give the maximum score as the beach is infested with voracious midges that from dusk get to work and are not worth (at least in my case) the various repellents that the structure makes available.... I repeat, maybe it was the wrong time, maybe it is the proximity of a small lagoon of stagnant water but....... is a problem to take into account. Very attractive price compared to other more or less in the area.

Very interesting price compared to other structures in the area.

Good location - low cost = low standard

Family business lack of English skills. Restaurant on the beach good food and fruit drinks but very that runs out during the day.
Very nice beach.
Very simple accommodation.
Renting a moped a requirement far to shops and other restaurants- located a bit off

A dream.

A perfect place to relax. The beach is perfect. Clean, no obstacles, crystal clear.
The bungalows are spacious and clean. The whole family team is extremely friendly and the food is excellent. The price-performance ratio is absolutely top-notch.
We stayed in a beach bungalow.

A peaceful and relaxing place

It is a family run resort with bungalows situated in a quiet and calm bay, surrounded by many coconut trees. The beach has fine sand and is well maintained by the staff. The water is clean and shallow, suitable for swimming. They have free kayaks you can use.
The bungalow is simple, clean and comfortable. Each has a front porch with a hammock for you to chill out to enjoy the peaceful beachfront. It has its own restaurant which serves typical Thai food with reasonable price. The staff are all very friendly and polite. You can rent motorbike here and also book your ferry ticket from them. It is a small resort so it is not crowded with many guests or noisy. It is good place if you want to escape from it all to enjoy a quiet down time there
