Lovely beach spot but needs some TLC

The photos are deceptive, everywhere is much scruffier and worn out than depicted.
Staff are excellent and the position is brilliant for the beach and nearby restaurants.
As it is very small it can be noisy with children and every night of my week a yapping dog was left unattended for hours so had to go out to get peace.

Great beach villa experience

We visited Villa La Baron for the second time this year. It is a great Villa experience on a very good beach location in Bangrak. It is right on the beach with soft sand and not too busy. Villa La Baron has four large 2 bedroom Villas and two smaller but very nice rooms. That makes staying here very calming and not too busy. Great pool in front of the beach and many beach activities like paddle board etc available.
La Baron is hosted by Jay - a great host and owner who really looks after the guests and is a wonderful person - like family to us. The people working here are also fantastic offering daily cleaning of the room, fresh towels and fresh fruit and drinks during the day.
The property is close to food markets and many great restaurants as well as only a 5 min taxi ride to Fisherman’s Village.
I have seen some complaints in a recent review on booking.com from a family of 7 coming to a room meant for 3 people and was not allowed to stay all together. Jay did everything to relocate some of the family but it is obvious that the property needs to be strict on its number of guests-per-room policy considering other guests.
Villa La Baron is a very good option for single travelers, couples and small families who wants a relaxing beach vacation in a great location on Koh Samui.

Great small Hotel near the airport and peer to Koh Phangan Haad Rin. If you like to be more quiet outside the crazy tourist centers but near to all thats your choice

On the beach in samui

Very nice room on the beautiful beach, clean and quite we love it
the honer take careof everything, big room very comftrable , around15 minut ride to the center, have pedal kayak and nice swiming pool all included..enjoythe beach and the sun
