A very warm and comfy stay

I stayed almost 14 days in turtle rooms and i must say this place was an excellent choice. It was my first time in phuket so you never know in advance what to expect. The staff is super friendly and it helps a lot that most of them talk good to excellent english, which is not common for what i’ve experienced when i tried to talk with locals.
There is a co living space with a huge tv with netflix, a comfy sofa and airconditioning. The kitchen just received a necessary update and now you have everything your kitchenheart desires. Enough tools and the staff makes sure it’s cleaned properly. The rooms are equiped properly as well and have everything you need. I must say that if you book a room for 3 people it’s spacious enough but the single bed is not a recommendation. Quite hard and it’s not really a bed. It’s a sofa you unfold so be aware of maybe a bit of sore back after some days. The normal double bed is excellent, very comfy and soft. The airco works properly is not too loud. I would recommend getting a room on the opposite side of the main road if you don’t want any noise during your sleep.
I’m 27 years old and the reason of my trip to phuket was mainly to wakeboard everyday so it’s important to have a nice and comfy stay. Turtle rooms definitely provided this and i will stay there again if i’m in phuket in the future.
The staff also helps you with whatever question you have and will always stay superfriendly. If the manager Ann is there, make sure you have a little chat with her. She’s a lovely person to talk too and will make you laugh with one of her anecdotes.
Your nextdoor neighboor is a washplace so you can drop your dirty clothes there. Next day you pick them up for a low price. Next to that place you have a message place. Convenient for me as a wakeboarder. Two houses to the left there is a pharmacy. A seven eleven is 2min with the scooter for any purchases you need. Also withdrawing money is possible at every seven eleven. It’s located on a busy road so you are close to everything. Should i say anything more to convince you staying there? I think not.
Big thanks to Ann and her staff for a carefree day and comfy stay.

Lovely people. Noisy room.

We stayed here for two nights. The staff and owner were lovely people who were very helpful, who also run a tour company. The guest house has four rooms. Two in the front of the building, and two at the back. The property is on a fairly main road, and the building has very minimal sound isolation, so traffic noise is loud and fairly constant through the night. Across the road they have some kind of a night-bar that runs live music/karaoke or something like that. The shrill and atonal "singing" was closer to psychological warfare than it was to music, and as such was not conducive to good sleeping. The room had good and quiet air conditioning, but did not have a TV, and the Internet was slow, even by ordinary Phuket standards. The room was not on-suite.
With significant sound isolation work done, and with a drop in price, this would be a nice place to stay. As it stands, it is over-priced for where and what it is offering.

A great price for a comfortable stay!

I booked this last minute as my accommodation fell through in Phuket and I was having a terrible week. I was actually on a day tour when the company I was with mentioned they have an Airbnb type of accommodation that they offer. I immediately became interested because I was thoroughly enjoying my tour and the tour owners were awesome! The owners of the tour company and Turtle Room let me book with them last minute and I stayed at their place which is brand new, I loved it, and I ended up having a much better week because of it. Turtle Rooms was nice and quiet and isolated from other tourists spots which was really nice! I was able to experience a real local experience here yet have access to an English speaking staff that could help me with whatever I needed (the tour office is located right next to Turtle Rooms). If you are looking to be right in the middle of one of the touristy areas then this is not the right place for you but you will pay a lot more to stay in those areas. I loved this location because it was quiet, there was a restaurant across the street, as well as a local Thai store, and a 7-11 not too far away. I had great wi-fi access here, all day coffee, water, and cookies. They include breakfast as well so if you stay here just let them know what you want and you can cook your own breakfast in the kitchen. If I came back to Phuket I would stay here again but next time I would rent a scooter (the staff will help you rent a scooter if needed). Also, I highly recommend booking their tours as one of their boat tours in particular was the best tour I have ever taken anywhere! Lastly, the bed was super comfortable and I got a great night's sleep every night! :)
