Perfect stay for backpackers and people who want to experience the culture of Thailand.

Excellent accommodation as advertised. Nuna is a wonderful and kind hostess. She has a motorbike to rent and offers taxi service to the airport. The accommodation is located in the residential area and gives a more authentic experience than a hotel. We enjoyed our stay and her hospitality.

I strongly discourage

Having to find at the last moment a place to sleep for only one night in Phuket having a night flight and there being no transfers to the islands at night we were forced to find a solution "close" to the port .. never worse choice! Price certainly low but the proposed room was with the paddle fan so to have a room with air conditioning I found myself paying what I would have paid in a "decent" hotel .. the most incredible thing was the fact that if we had taken a driver through them we would have made a check in after 22 .. when the owner lived less than 200 meters from the structure. He also asked us for a 200bht deposit for the key without prior notice. Really basic apartment, located in a secluded street, noisy air conditioner, and the most unpleasant thing smelled bad. I don't recommend it.

Its the second time I’m coming to Pek House during my stay in Phuket. Nuna the host is amazing super helpful with everything and kind. Pek house is a bit out of the centre (20 min by walk) of Phuket, is close to the pier where the ferry to phiphi departing. Is is a quiet area and rooms are clean. Everytime I’m going to Phuket I’m coming here.

EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY

I visited my son and stayed here for 3 weeks, and was very happy. It was clean and very comfortable. It's close to great stores, markets, and shops. I swim, and it's 5 minutes from an excellent public pool, which i loved. I would definitely recommend it.
