The hostel itself is nicely upgraded and the toilets and shower are clean. Pool was lovely. Nice chill area with hammocks off to the sides of the rooms or more under shade with fans in the main welcome area. Good place to chill and charge up. The room was a bit stinky but it turns out there’s a must Thai gym nearby so a lot of people were there for that. Made for nice eye candy. Not so nice to smell. :)

Below average

We were overall pretty disappointed here. The facilities are okay, hammocks are cool, showers are average, but it’s difficult to look past the dorms.
If you’re looking for privacy this probably isn’t the place for you, the curtains don’t go all the way around the beds, and top bunks can literally see into beds opposite and across from them.
There are no curtains on the windows meaning your room is flooded with light as soon as it hits sunrise.
The reception staff were really friendly and I feel bad leaving a poor review, but outside of kind of decent amenities and friendly staff, the hostel itself as somewhere to sleep was poor.

1/5 - not like the pictures

We stayed in chill hub for our first night in Phuket and hated it. There is nothing to do in the area other than overcrowded bang Tao beach. The privacy curtain had no privacy. I did not feel safe in the room. The room did not have curtains to block out the light from the night top windows. Bed was uncomfortable and room was full of flies. The toilet/ shower room was basic. Would not stay here. Nothing like the pictures. Only positive was nice lady staff member checking us in.

+ Comfortable beds with curtains so you have small almost private space.
+ Air conditioning works well so temperature in the room is comfortable.
+ Nice inside garden area with hammocks, tables and swimming pool.
- Bed linen was not new
- No padlocks available, you have to buy it

It’s a great hostel, in an even better location and the staff are very helpful!
I wish they changed your towel especially if you’re there for a longer stay (they charge 40 baht to change it), and the housekeeping in the rooms didn’t happen very often (the trash piled up for a couple days).
Still a wonderful stay !
