Local experience!
Experience legal, location for historic center and excellent, but well away from the tourist center! Breakfast and simple but all tasty!

Black Mold. One of the Worst Hotel Experiences We’ve Ever Had
Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had.
We discovered black mold above the bed and in the bathroom, along with visible signs of moisture damage and deteriorating paint. Having black mold directly above where you are supposed to sleep is completely unacceptable, and we immediately raised the issue with the hotel after noticing it.
We were then moved to another hotel as a solution. Unfortunately, the replacement accommodation was also unacceptable — the mattresses had a strong, unpleasant smell, making it impossible for us to stay there.
That same night, when we felt we could no longer stay at the alternative hotel, we spent around an hour on the phone with the booking agent, while they discussed the situation and negotiated with the hotel. Despite this, the hotel did not offer any alternative resolution that night. We were left with no reasonable option other than to leave and find another hotel in the middle of the night.
We later returned to the hotel and raised the matter again. The only refund eventually offered was for the final night that we would not be staying. We appreciate that refund, but we were still charged for the first night, despite having black mold in our room, and for the second night, when the alternative accommodation provided by the hotel was not suitable for us to stay in.
In other words, we paid for two nights of accommodation that we could not reasonably use, despite repeatedly raising the issue and giving the hotel an opportunity to resolve it.
Problems can happen at any hotel, but what matters is how the hotel takes responsibility when something goes wrong. In our experience, the condition of the accommodation, the alternative accommodation, and especially the handling of the situation fell far below what we would expect.

Very good accommodation in Old Town Phuket
Very clean and pleasant accommodation in the Old Town area. Super friendly staff. Includes breakfast and a complimentary drink. They clean your room daily and change your towels. The pool, great!

Disgusting
Very disappointing. The hostel had a strong odor, felt dirty, outdated, and poorly maintained. I checked out shortly after checking in because I wasn’t comfortable staying. I asked to switch rooms, but my request was denied despite another room being available. I had to pay for a hotel instead and my refund request was also denied. I would not stay here again.

Great Stay!
Excellent Stay! Great location, very close to Old Town and anything you may need during a stay. Very well priced for all the additions you get including; free breakfast, hot drinks, popcorn, books, painting and games! The pool is lovely to cool off, the shared rooms are spacious. The staff are very friendly and helpful! Would recommend!
