One of my favourite places in all of Taiwan!

The Flora Inn is absolutely fabulous. Remarkably clean, comfortable, cheap, and wonderfully situated at the edge of a big and bustling city.
The fact that the front desk closes at 8pm, and there are only 3 rooms on every floor, allows for a cozy home like feeling.
The location is wonderful!
There are two main markets for the Aniping residents just outside the front door, yet I heard nothing inside the hotel. The River trail is only 2 blocks away, which also happens to be the bus route to access the train station (40 mins).
And the people of the historical district of Anping…. Wonderfully kind!
I stayed only 2 nights, and would stay a week next time!
The facilites are very modern. And they seem to be attending to the final details.
My only recommendations are; the room fridge needs to be a bit colder, and the kitchen area in the lobby could be available to reheat food.

Very pleasant and clean hotel. The service was fantastic and the hotel is very attentive. I really enjoyed staying here and found it quite restful.
The only issues I ran into were the thin walls and the room didn’t lock from the inside (but cannot be accessed without a key card). It would make me feel a lot safer as a solo female traveler if there was additional security reinforcement (but you need a keycard for both the front door and elevator which I appreciate). Would definitely stay here again.

This is my first time visiting Tainan city. This hotel located in a very convenient location that I can easily rent a bike or walk to anywhere. And the neighbours are nice and quiet. There are also lots of Taiwanese style breakfast options near by. It is a very good location for people who wanted to experience local people life. It's across from the Anping local fresh grocery market. Very nice down to the earth with good food. However, I live in the room without widnow. So I wasn't able to tell if it's noise in the morning when people are shopping for groceries. Overall I love this place, very quiet at night and convenient for going to everywhere. To me all walkable distance.

1. There is used tissue on the floor when we checked in
2. Window is fake because it is indoor window.
3. They don't offer hand soap in the bathroom
4. The light switch of bathroom is near the entry door not next to bathroom door.
The location is very close to the traditional market.
