Amazing hotel with lots of luxuries without a luxury price-tag

Absolutely wonderful stay - absolute gem of a find. Wonderful view of the Matterhorn from our room - which felt so luxurious with such lovely bedding and every amenity you need - so refreshing for a hotel to have a really decent hairdryer!! Breakfast was lovely every day - wonderful having warm fresh baked rolls! The use of the spa at the Alpen (5 mins max walk) was wonderful too. Was truly wonderful from the moment we arrived - all staff cannot do enough for you. Would definitely book again.

Weekend in Zermatt

I stayed at the Phoenix last weekend during my stay in Zermatt for the Breithorn tour. The rooms are furnished in a fresh and welcoming style, and the beds are truly comfortable. The breakfast is very abundant, and we had the pleasure of enjoying it on the terrace. They also offer the possibility of using the spa of their partner hotel, the Alpen Resort, for free. A truly pleasant stay, which I gladly recommend.

Loved this place

What a great hotel!
Everything was perfect for a boys trip for dad and 18 year old son.
Great location close to the main shopping area and lifts but also a nice quiet spot.
We’ll be returning next year with the rest of the family.

Ski break

Good location and quiet area of town. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Ski room at the entrance to the hotel so well located. Great breakfast from 7.00am. Staff excellent and very friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Solo stay

Room was comfortable location was great. Short walk to main drag, Gornagot, and Sunnegga. I was with a group but needed to get my own space and this worked perfectly. Price was good considering I planned most of my time outside of the room. Room comfortable and staff extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good. good ski shop to rent skis and boards 100 m away. Convenient room for storing equipment and not tracking in snow and dirt. Boot heater was a plus.
