On the lake

Beautiful location, on the lake. We had a very large top floor suite with kitchenette, sitting area and balcony. Coffee maker in the room with capsules available. The bathroom with bath and shower inside, not the best. Improveable breakfast, all present sweet and savory industrial products. Not far from Lucerne, but you need cars for travel. We used it as a base to visit nearby places. Reception closes late in the evening. I recommend it.

Great disappointment

Sleeping comfort: The beds are way too hard and the pillows way too flat there really is nothing in it. Back and neck pain from this.
The breakfast room is uncozy with a dirty carpet
Breakfast very poor compared to all other hotels during our tour.
2nd morning there were dirty dark spots at the bottom of the cheese, paprika powder they said, strange answer because sat at the bottom of the cheese and also stuck to the plateau, a new plateau was provided without ‘ paprika powder’ this time
Last night we had dinner in the pizzeria and then we were sick all night and threw up
The friendly lady at the reception apologized and would pass it on, nothing more heard from also only hotel that did not ask for a review afterwards.
We thought it was a waste of money, we're not coming back here.

Excellent comfortable 2 night stay, views, pets welcome and secure parking.

Lovely old fashioned hotel on the banks of Lake Lucerne with excellent terraces and lovely views. Good secure parking and pet friendly! The room was a junior suite, spacious with a large balcony with views over the lake....very close to some shops, restaurants and walks...very good hotel pizza restaurant opposite. Good breakfast. About a 20 minute drive to Lucerne. Friendly welcome and friendly staff on the terrace and restaurant.

Hotel lovely right on lake food very good staff very friendly and helpful car park right outside hotel other restaurants beside hotel Mountain View also lift to all floors at the hotel air conditioning at hotel rooms very spacious and clean

Wonderful lakeside setting.

A lovely hotel, with friendly and helpful staff, in a beautiful lakeside location.
A 16-minute train journey from Luzern and well worth it for the lakeside views and its proximity to Stans.
Try to get a room with a balcony and a view of the lake.
Breakfast is very good.
Its adjacent pizzeria was warm and welcoming with a lovely smell of woodsmoke and the best pizzas I have ever tasted.
Good choice of starters and desserts too.
Very highly recommended.
