Ideal für pflegeleichte und kontaktfreudige Menschen
Ruhig gelegen, mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Zu Fuss etwas steiler Aufstieg. Häuschen je nach Bedürfniss, Nr. 4 voll ausgestattet mit Küche, WC und Dusche. Eigenes Gartenabteil. Holz selber mitbringen!

Far too expensive to have the Impression of Sleeping in a Hostel
We paid CHF 631.- (approx. € 666.- ) for two nights hoping to sleep in a dream place. None of this! We had, with our 12-year-old daughter, house no. 1. I don't recommend it, even for a lower Award. It is true that the owners increase the Awards in summer and at the Locarno Film Festival. They raise the Award, but not the benefit:
No welcome, no one to receive you. No water bottle or little attention. Nothing, too many emails to tell you that the dog is CHF 9.- more, and that the code will be transmitted by SMS, etc...
The bed in the master bedroom is 140 cm, which was not announced, and the mattress is of very poor quality. Both upstairs beds are laid on the floor and mattress, as the downs are of poor quality. Since there is no blind, shutter or curtain to sleep in the dark, it is not easy to sleep well.
When you wake up, you want to sit on your terrace, but the table is dirty and the housekeeper passes all the time and prevents you from being quiet.
Inside, the rustic side stands out well since it is not possible to sit three in house no. 1. And in addition, the check-out is at 10:00!
There we have the Impression of sleeping in a Bad Hostel and being ripped off for the Award.
Think before you come to this rustico where the owners cash your money without welcoming you. To avoid!

Sehr enttäuschend
Unsere Erfahrung war leider sehr enttäuschend. Wir buchen seit vielen Jahren über Booking und haben dabei bereits viele unterschiedliche Unterkünfte kennengelernt – sowohl sehr gute als auch weniger gute. Was wir hier erlebt haben, war jedoch in dieser Form neu für uns. Die Zimmer waren deutlich kleiner als erwartet, nicht richtig sauber und entsprachen weder den Fotos noch der Beschreibung. Besonders belastend war die starke Hitze, da keine Klimaanlage vorhanden war. Die vorhandenen Ventilatoren waren sehr laut und kaum nutzbar, sodass nachts kein erholsamer Schlaf möglich war. Hinzu kamen viele Mücken und andere Insekten. Der Check-in ist erst ab 15:00 Uhr möglich, der Check-out bereits um 10:00 Uhr. Trotz dieser Zeitspanne wirkte es nicht so, als würde sie für eine gründliche Reinigung genutzt werden.
Auch die Aussenbereiche konnten nicht überzeugen. Die beiden Grillplätze waren nass und daher nicht nutzbar. Die Gemeinschaftsküche machte einen ungepflegten Eindruck und wirkte nicht regelmässig gereinigt. Die gesamte Gartenanlage war stark verwildert, Wege waren teilweise überwachsen und nur schwer passierbar. Bereits bei der Ankunft stand ein Staubsauger vor dem Eingang und war auch am nächsten Morgen noch dort, was den insgesamt ungepflegten Eindruck zusätzlich verstärkte. Insgesamt hatten wir den Eindruck, dass die Anlage nicht ausreichend gepflegt wird. Umso mehr hat uns überrascht, dass es viele positive Bewertungen gibt, da unsere Erfahrung deutlich davon abwich.
Auch wenn die Unterkunft preislich günstig ist, sollte dies aus unserer Sicht keine mangelnde Pflege oder Instandhaltung rechtfertigen. Wir können diese Unterkunft daher leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

Wunderbar ruhig gelegen, rustikal
Die Rustici Maggia sind wunderbar ruhig gelegen etwas über dem Talboden des Valle Maggia, circa 10 Minuten zu Fuß an den Fluss. Die traditionellen Steinhäuser sind schön gestaltet und renoviert, einfach, aber allen Annehmlichkeiten vorhanden, wunderbare Pergola und Feuerstelle sowie Sitzplätze. Kommen wieder!
