Perfect place to start your MTB journey in Lenzerheide, Switzerland!

We started our mountain bike adventure here-what a perfect set up to enjoy the local bike park and easily walk to the local lake & nearby shops + dinning.

Very pleasant stay in high quality

A short-term booking was possible due to the flexibility of the owners. Very personal and family-run business. Great food. Nice atmosphere.
Even my short stay was greatly appreciated.
Warm recommendation

Well looked after at this comfortable ski in/out hotel

Travelled from Zurich Airport by trains to Chur and then bus using the reliable Swiss system. A short walk up the hill from the Rothorn Gondola Station from where we collected our lift passes and my skis from Pesko Sports. Excellent reception by Chris, especially his advice to go to Maluo's for afternoon cake! All the staff were very good, both in the cozy bar and the restaurant. Made us very welcome.
Comfortable 3*. We had the comfort single rooms in main hotel. Good size and all you needed, very clean. Comfortable double bed. Only comments would be that I needed to open balcony door at night as warm. Also, the curtains aren't really dark enough. Usual breakfast options. Dinners were fine without being special. Didn't use the Spa area.
The ski run down to the gondola is right by the door to the ski room, very convenient. Ski-in as well. Perhaps they could smooth out the ground where you step on to the run.
Resort has had a reduced snowfall this year, like many places. About 2/3rds of runs open. However, conditions were ok. Link to Arosa open. Very pretty setting. Went twice, bit busy.
Some nice small restaurants on the mountains as well as usual larger ones. A few T Bars, at least a couple of which could do with upgrading.
Think we were the only Brits in the hotel, which I like, more of an adventure. Language not a problem at any time.
We are two seniors who thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Dieschen and skiing at Arosa/Lenzerheide. Reasonable value for money, very welllooked after.

Great family business in a prime location

The Hotel Dieschen on the Lenzerheide is not located in the pedestrian zone – what a luck. Instead, it is majestically perched in a clearing near the lake and the Rothorn lifts. This particularly exclusive location makes the hotel a sought-after destination for guests looking for peace and quiet – or for hungry villagers who want to do without a night walk. The many parking spaces on site are a big bonus.
Past the reception, where we were already warmly welcomed, we continued towards the restaurant. This exudes downright alpine chic – lots of wood, linen fabrics and the modern table setting, which almost makes you feel like you are dining in Switzerland’s trendiest chalet. The attentive staff will help us to take off the jackets and also reveal where we can store them safely for the rest of the evening. First impression: perfect. We are clearly in good hands here.
We are escorted to the table and promptly asked for the aperitif, which we have unfortunately already celebrated elsewhere. The menu is manageable and well thought-out; there are dishes for meat eaters, fish lovers, vegetarians, sweet toothers and – of course – for the dwarves. Matching the exquisite wines from the wine cellar, which spoil the palate so much that you almost forget what is really important: The food. We choose the starter classic – salads. The main courses: Cordon bleu, a lamb braise and vegetable capuns. Everything is served hot, the food is delicious and the Service attentive – we feel in good hands. It’s almost the perfect start to the weekend if it weren’t for this small, one-meter man sitting behind us, armed with a soup spoon, which he quickly converted into a drum replacement. This up-and-coming Led Zeppelin drummer has set out to outdo the legendary John Bonham with his powerful, thunderous style. His parents grin proudly in the area – the remaining guests endure it with amazing dignity. After dessert – which pleases both palate and eyes – the chef also inquires about our well-being. But what is wrong with this fine food?
Conclusion: Great family business, nice evening with good food and a friendly, attentive Service. The hotel shows no signs of age discomfort – the environment is modern and well-kept, and the freshly prepared food is really excellent. A family business that knows how to pamper guests – or at least leave them with a smile after dessert. Thank you for a successful evening among friends. We would love to come back – maybe we will experience a less talented drummer;-)

Very comfortable stay!

My 5 year old daughter and I stayed at the hotel. We always felt welcome with every interaction we had there. The room was very comfortable and the location is excellent for ski in/out. The price vs quality was also excellent. The restaurant was very busy for dinner but i ate 3 evenings there and each meal was great. I would say the cordon blue I had there was the best I’ve ever had.
Would definitely go back.
Thanks too all staff
