Hotel Savoy Bern is an awesome place, in a prime location next to the main train station in the old downtown. It is very clean, quiet and most importantly the air conditioning works. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful with anything you need. The only downside at this point I would say it’s breakfast should be included in the price, not $27 per person per day extra. We decided to not pay for the breakfast as there are plenty of other options nearby.

Glad I Booked this Hotel

Glad I booked this hotel. All upgraded. Very modern and clean. Comfortable beds. Nice hospitality. We were there for one night. Breakfast included. I am gluten free and dairy free. They were able to accommodate me with some gluten free bread, hard boiled egg, fruit. I would stay again if I come back to the area.

Fantastic Value and Location

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Savoy in Bern. The location cannot be beat, minutes from the train station and within walking distance of the old town and all the attractions. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They helped us with dinner recommendations and reservations, and gave us instructions on how to safely swim down the Aare river (which I highly recommend). Overall excellent value.

The property was very nice. It had a wonderful location.. The property was very clean and the staff was very helpful with suggestions of things to see and restaurants.. The room was clean and more than adequate size with a bathtub. I would say the breakfast was good, but maybe not as good as other places we’ve been to in Italy and Germany and Switzerland and Austria.. I would recommend this Hotel as a frequent traveler
