Perfect hotel

Located directly on the road towards Italy. We used Casa Zen as a transit hotel. Super. Nice, spacious room ( 3 persons), good beds, friendly and helpful Service lady. So well liked that we also booked immediately for the way back. Plenty of (free) parking spaces. Key system works perfectly, plenty of tasty restaurants in Chiasso present. We also came with an electric car no problem to charge it in the area (Tesla supercharger and Shell nearby). Again super hotel

Structure to be reviewed in many respects

I stayed here for work (luckily I would say). I stayed in two different rooms, in two different weeks, but unfortunately the experience at this hotel was disappointing.
In the first room the toilet flush was broken and room very cold.
In the second room it appears dated and poorly cared for: the TV I had to scan the channels and moreover you could see very badly, even here cold room.
Attention to detail is almost absent. The wardrobe door is broken, giving a general impression of neglect and unprofessionalism.
In the bathroom there is the shower gel dispenser outside the shower, quite uncomfortable. The structure gives the idea of a hotel that has not been renovated in years.
Wi-fi not working at all, I entered the password but gave it wrong.

Clean and spacious

Nice, clean place, very spacious rooms, in a silent zone. We came cause there was no more space in Mendrisio, but we were well satisfied, easily reachable from Mendrisio and 24h automatic check in

Zen house

I stayed home zen Balerna booking for a month. Having to leave 5 days later I was not reimbursed any amount I was very bad for the happened being that for 5 days I paid really very much. Clean and quiet property

GOOD

Nice clean room with kettle and coffee/tea facilities. Quiet spacious room with shutters. Very kind staff. Free parking on site. Suitable for one overnight.
No restaurant available but for breakfast. Late check-in possible
