Good and nice hotel for business travel or short transit travels.
The room size was just adequate, there was no complementary water in the room. Drink options in the fridge were very expensive.
Staff was excellent including the owners, very friendly and caring esp the lady at the restaurant.
No option for ironing clothes, but again staff provided their staff room to iron shirts.
They provided complete information about late check in to make sure it stays as a smooth experience.
Feedback has been quite well taken with email confirmations which really makes me try the hotel once again to see how well they took my feedback into consideration.

Highly recommended
Located about 25 minutes from downtown Basel, in a very quiet and idyllic setting. It is a small house, which at first glance looks a little older, but thus exudes a lot of charm and a pleasant, family atmosphere.
The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. I would like to emphasize particularly positively that individual wishes (gluten-free, lactose-free, vegan) were met without any problems. Breakfast was accordingly highly recommended – there were fresh fruit, gluten-free rolls, cereal and even vegan butter.
I had booked a single room. The room was simple but very clean and tidy. I especially liked the renovated bathroom – modern equipment and visually very appealing.
Overall, I can recommend the place without restriction and would stay there again at any time.

Fantastic boutique hotel
Beautiful hotel centrally located near the Tram station, the grocery store (right downstairs) and many good restaurants. Very friendly staff, super clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfasts. Most highly recommend this convenient small village boutique hotel for easy access to Basel via complimentary trams.

Well-run small hotel outside Basel
Stayed in this family-run hotel for a few nights and will definitely come again when attending an event in Basel. Our room was spacious and, while not luxurious, very comfortable, with a nice view over the street. The air conditioning worked well and a big plus during the summer heat. Breakfast in the dining room was a good standard Swiss selection of breads, yogurts, cheese etc. Would perhaps like a bit more options for fresh fruit and vegetables, but it was perfectly acceptable. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Location is great: 2 minute walk to tram stop, about a 20 minute ride into Basel city center. You can also get off at Dreispitz and then walk to St Jakobs Park in about 10 mins, perfect for attending a football match or concert there. Arlesheim is a nice, quiet village with restaurants and cafes where you are away from the hustle and bustle of Basel. The hotel is also located above a Coop supermarket if you need anything during your stay. All in all, a good option for both business or leisure purposes.

This perfect, little quaint hotel is almost a hidden gem. The town Arlesheim (Dornach) is a small town just outside Basel. Easy transit getting here.
We were lucky to check in early and had a wonderful room overlooking the garden. The hotel manager and all the staff are very warm, welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.
