My first choice in Umeå!

Forgot to write - so incredibly happy with Hotel Mimer! Nice staff, freshest rooms and quiet and quiet. Highly recommend!

The gym was quite underwhelming, but it was good enough to get a workout in. It was a bit strange that a hotel of this standard was playing loud music—apparently from the hotel restaurant—until after midnight. It carried a little too well into our room on the second floor.
Good breakfast.

Arrived at the hotel around 8:30 pm. It took over an hour to get correct instructions to park the vehicle offsite at a public parking garage. They have less than limited parking as advertised. The hotel has 200 rooms and less than 20 onsite spots. The hotel has a restaurant! Upon arrival we learned it was closed. It was open for a bus load of tourists and that’s it. We headed out to find a restaurant nearby but came up empty. The kitchens were all closed so we went to bed hungry. The rooms do not have AC another frustration that resulted in this hotel experience being absolutely abysmal

Avoid if sleeping is a priority

Non-existent ventilation in the room, very hot. Opened the window but then we were disturbed by the busy road just outside. Mold in the bathroom. The people who worked with breakfast were nice!

Staff was very kind and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was amazing. The room was a little small, but the price wasn't outrageous. The location was close to downtown shopping and public transportation. Reduced-price parking was nice, but spots were taken pretty quickly, depending on the time of day. Overall, I will recommend it to others.
