Excellent B&B in old buildings

In old red buildings adjacent to lake Frykens water you find this really friendly B&B. On the other hand you can see the church in Sunne at the top of a hillock. Beautiful surrondings in other words and the best staff you can find.

Stengt/Closed

Stengt/closed - no more bed & breakfest anymore. They still have option for long time rental. Not much more to say, but I have to write 200 character before I am allowed to save this, so I guess I will write a bit more. Nice place and nice church nearby. Bye :)

Cosy, friendly and good location.

Excellent location, beautiful surroundings and view to the lake. The hosts are very friendly and helpful: I asked tips about the local flea markets and Elisabeth was so kind and gave us a full list of the places we could visit which was extremely useful. The place is very cosy, clean and tastefully renovated. As there is a railway station right in the opposite of Prostgården (across the lake), the bypassing few trains might make some noise but in general, it was not a problem.

Historic pearl at a superb location and garden

Staying there with a family we enjoyed to be the guests of the very friendly and hospitable owners of this once historic place. We were so pleasantly convinced, that we changed our plans and returned for another stay.
Its not surprizing that the ancient priests or dean choose this place and maintained the buildings that well. Of course the current owners contributed a lot to make it a place you really love to stay for a night or longer with all the amenities of a hotel. We enjoyed the perfect location at the river to eat lunch or breakfast outside in the garden, to swim or take a canoe for a small trip and the kids could play along in harmony with other guests in the huge garden or on a trampoline.

Very good place and nice people

This is a quite and nice place. The cars GPS had a hard time finding the intrance. The room was clean and with a view over the water. Only disappointment was the breakfast. Bread was awful. It would highten the standard a lot if there was newbaked bread to the breakfast. And better with real cheese instead of sliced supermarket-cheese.

I'm sorry you didn't like the breakfast. It´s a little surprising thou, we usually serve new baked bread and we always have real cheese. Never "sliced supermarket-cheese".
