Good and affordable accommodation

We were on a trip south and Good Morning Hotel in Jönköping felt like a good (and cheap) place to stay overnight. And, despite the comfortable but rather boring shape of a double bed with one side against a wall, our expectations were met by far. The hotel is well located near the motorway, there is parking with guaranteed parking space, good staff and next to the reception a bar that stayed open well into the evening. We shared a club sandwich that was both great and tasty. In the morning, breakfast was served in the same premises, a breakfast that was above expectations.
The room was well cleaned with quite OK standard and seemed to be well soundproofed. The most negative is few channels on the TV and that unfortunately there is no password on the wifi connection.

EPA can and stale bread

Crazy hot in the rooms, no ventilation or AC. I’m also located next to Mcdolnads so it was an EPA party with thumping music and engine roar until 3am so I couldn’t sleep. Miserable breakfast there.the bread was rock hard,.safe three days old and the scrambled eggs were omelette to pieces (overcooked). Will be another hotel next time!

Otherwise good

2 important things I want.
1. Remove AI voice from svt 1 and svt2. It is completely useless to try to watch these channels. Surprised no one else has complained.
2. Get shoehorns in the rooms, my colleague and I are not supposed to bring our own shoehorns.
We are 6 from a company that will live there for 1 year, we have talked about whether we should change hotel just because the management has said that it is not possible to arrange with the canals.
OTHERWISE A GREAT HOTEL AND GREAT STAFF AND GREAT BREAKFAST

Ok hotel, nice staff and newly refurbished.
The down sides were a single duvet that was suposed to be a double so not enough to cover 2 people. Light over the bed was in a bad position so you hit your head on it all night. Over all good value for money just needs a few tweeks.
