Romantic stop over

Wonderful place for our first night back in Sweden - very romantic spot with excellent hosts. We enjoyed the tasting menu at the restaurant - it was 5 star

Easter buffet

The idea is good, the implementation regrettable. We booked ourselves an Easter buffet. It turned out to be a meager selection of a blissful mix at a hefty overcharge. A lot could be picked up directly from ICA and the rest, a couple of pies served in disposable molds, like something just thrown together. A couple of Abba herring, a smoked salmon, pork tenderloin in cream sauce and a ready-made potato gratin. To this was served tzaziki?! Very unEasterly! The dessert buffet consisted of a tasty cake a la children’s party in the 80’s, some candy in a few bowls taken with your hands and a Finnish cake in its foil form. We never deny ourselves when it comes to sweets, but this time we stopped.
The existing reviews may be assumed to come from benevolent friends and family. And yes, the staff also ate the buffet while it was served.
In other words, there is great potential for improvement here!

Newly discovered gem!

A newly discovered gem in Hälsingland!
We are five happy ladies aged 46-70+ who spent a night here. Very friendly staff and friendly staff, comfortable beds, good food and drinks.
Lovely surroundings and access to sauna raft. We highly recommend it and wish the host couple every success in their continued work with the mansion. We would love to come back!

A magical experience!

A magical experience! The food was fantastic, cooked with care and full of flavor. The service was top notch – attentive and professional. The environment is something special with a unique atmosphere and impressive tiled stoves that enhance the atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Magical Christmas spirit, fantastic Christmas buffet and unique 18th century environment – an experience to remember!

A magical Christmas experience at Forsså Manor
Forsså Manor offers a fantastic combination of tradition, taste and history. From the moment we arrived, with flickering fires and the smell of mulled wine, to the grand Christmas dinner, everything was thoughtful and genuine.
The Christmas buffet was a feast for the taste buds – exclusive smoked and dried meat delicacies, classic pickles and main courses that truly honour the Swedish Christmas tradition. In addition, the dessert table, with the Hälsingland cheesecake in the center, was a real highlight.
The setting of the historic 18th century mansion made the experience even more unique. It felt like stepping into another time – elegant and atmospheric, where you could almost imagine yourself a baroness or count.
The service was excellent, and the staff made sure we felt welcome and cared for throughout the evening.
Forsså Manor is not just a Christmas buffet, it is an unforgettable experience that I highly recommend. We are already looking forward to returning next Christmas!
