An extremely enjoyable stay.

Mount Top was one of the nicest places we visited. We were warmly greeted and served with a glass of fruit juice. Our room was nicely furnished and extremely clean. Our host very kindly arranged transport for our onward journey and we were allowed to leave our luggage whilst investigating the area and could use the bathroom to freshen up on our return from the beach. The breakfast we received was an absolute delight, in fact we couldn’t consume it all.

Best Breakfast in Sri Lanka

The breakfast & dinner were the best we'd had after over 2 weeks in Sri Lanka. The hosts & their family are really helpful & welcoming. They have 5 rooms with fan only 2 of which have a terrace with amazing views. They also have 1 room with aircon but it is very small & has no view.

Superbe lieu !

Exactement situé entre les plages de Dikwella et de Hirikitiya, l'accueil a été plus que chaleureux. La guest house est tenue par une famille d'une incroyable gentillesse.
Le petit déjeuner traditionnel était très bon et la chambre très spacieuse avec une vue sur la mer et le coucher de soleil. Il y a un balcon avec des chaises, ventilateur qui marchait bien et rafraîchissant la pièce.
Lors de notre départ, le père de famille qui était en week-end nous a déposées en voiture à l'arrêt de bus gratuitement.
Je recommande vivement !

Etwas überteuert, aber sonst ok

Es war das teuerste Zimmer, welches wir bei unserem 3wöchigen Aufenthalt auf Sri Lanka hatten. Es nannte sich Deluxe-Doppelzimmer, wobei sich Deluxe wohl auf die Klimaanlage bezogen war. Ansonsten war das Zimmer sehr klein, kaum Ablagemöglichkeit und Fenster zur Terrasse vom Nachbarn. Dazu lag die Gemeinschaftsküche direkt neben unserem Zimmer und es gab früh morgens wirklich Gäste, die gekocht haben. Somit war man wach.
Wir haben einmal das kleine und einmal das große Frühstück gehabt. Ich habe kaum einen Unterschied entdeckt. Beides war aber lecker. Und viel...
Wäsche kostete 300 Rupee pro Kilo.
Wie der Name verrät, liegt die Unterkunft auf einem Hügel. Zum Strand sind es 5 Minuten.
