Clean, warm and affordable

A pleasant homestay Villa, clean and very afordable, with beautiful hosts. The road up is a bit of a hustle and be careful not to be taken from the wrong side. Breakfast was in a large dinning area with a long table, where you can interact with other guests

Homestay from Heaven

We stayed two nights at Mount Haven and loved it. The room was bright and airy and the fan provided adequate cooling for the main heat of the day.
The setting is stunning, with brilliant views over the valley, one of the best views in the city. There also beautiful gardens to sit in and a very friendly dog, Bella.
While you can certainly walk into the city centre, very kindly the hosts Dr. Nimal and Lanka will organise any transport or city tours that you require.
The main selling point though are the hosts. It makes a world of difference, particularly for us when we travelled as there were national difficulties with fuel and infrastructure. I would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Kandy, to be made to feel at home and remember this part of your holiday fondly

Amazing homestay

We stayed here for 2 nights on our recent visit to Kandy and can not recommend it more. The owners made us feel so comfortable in their home, it was obvious that they loved hosting and getting to know their guests. The breakfast was delicious and they could assist you with anything you needed. The views from our bedroom were spectacular. Great place to stay whilst in Kandy!

Felt like home

I'd like to thank Dr Nimal and his wonderful wife Lanka for their amazing hospitality. I felt like I was at home: very clean and cosy accommodation, fresh and homemade breakfast, organic veggies and fruit grown by Dr Nimal himself from his garden, the welcome tea which they made for me, and also which is very very important their assistance with transportation and sightseeing!
My driver was Lalith and he drove me all around providing amazing service, the best prices in town, and the best places in town giving a lot of useful information about where to go and how much to pay. And he also takes amazing pics! Thank you very much!
I would absolutely recommend Mount Haven when you're in Kandy!
