Excellent stay

We stayed here with family for two nights and had an amazing stay.
As I understand the hotel is under new management and the staff could not do enough for us. We had welcome drinks to start which were delicious and our bags were carried up to our rooms.
The rooms were huge, very clean with air con and modern bathrooms. Our triple also had a good sized balcony overlooking the forest.
Breakfast was good with plenty to eat and we had our evening meals here both nights. The curry was excellent. Thankyou to Paul who made our stay unforgettable and went out of his way to make sure we were happy.
We will be coming back on our next visit to Sri Lanka

Cheap accommodation in tranquil surroundings

We firmly believe that you get what you pay for. We paid $7 US, for a double room, and were pleasantly surprised. The bed was really comfortable, and the shower had hot and cold water.
The hosts were really friendly. The hideout sits in the Kandahar hills and is a short walk from the bus stop.
If you are seeking cheap backpacker type accommodation and want a place to sleep, this will suit you. If you want four or five star places you will need to go elsewhere and pay the high prices. We enjoyed our time here and stayed an extra night. We would stay again if visiting Kandy again.

Birthday celebrating

Thnks you for do the best for us...and highly appreciate helped for the birthday surprise to my girlfriend betterly...and staff is very helpful.as well breakfast is very good.so happy to given room and other facilities.

Dirty hotel in a lost place.

This hotel is located in a hard reachable place. Rooms are dirty. Nothing to do with the pictures shown on internet. We have reserved a room with a balcony but we have got a tiny room with terrible dirty toilette full of spiders. To the question why the picture from the internet doesn't match with the reality, we were told that 'it was just a picture'. And that the nice room shown there costs 70 USD. A positive thing from the hotel was service. A guy from the reception was very polite. He did everything possible to help us stay there. I would give him 10 from 10 for his excellent service.

Friendly and spacious

Even though we only stayed one night we had a very pleasant experience. The staff is extremely helpful with planning a trip and arranging a tuktuk for example. The facilities are spacious, the bed is excellent (especially for tall people), the sanitary is decent (except for a big spider and two dead beetles) and the view is very nice. They definitely try to make your stay great. Recommended!
