We visited as a family of 7, including 2 kids. Chandana, the host, was very accommodating to our needs and went out of his way to make our stay pleasant. The place had a backpacker retreat type setting with Boho themes. The place is clean and well kept but appears to be a bit old, so expect the usual quirks of older homes. Parking is available for small cars only. Larger vehicles would need to park at the top of the cul-de-sac by the arterial lane. Overall, it was a positive experience.

Nice place to stay in busy Colombo

We enjoyed our stay at Chandana's rustic house. He was really helpful and friendly. The room is big, super comfortable, clean and has cooking facilities. We saw a lot of colourful birds (parrots, kingfisher, flycatcher, etc) from the rooftop dinning area. Recommended.

Peaceful stay

Chandana and his wife run an amazing house, which is more like a home. It's right in the heart of mount Lavinia, 5 Mon drive to the beach and close to many food places too. The kitchen and living areas can be shared by all guests while a balcony with cozy chaos and a small kitchen is available for the guests too. We loved it as it's affordable, clean, peaceful and more like a home than a inn. The sunset from the balcony shows a view of an urban landscape with a slight sea breeze.

老板和服务生出色，乐意助人，我的一个手机数据线坏了，老板驱车带我去买。酒店房间布置质朴无华，有家的感觉。屋外树木郁郁葱葱，清晨鸟语阵阵，一派热带丛林景象。每天老板会做丰盛可口的早餐，干净健康和富有营养。老板热情介绍当地值得一去的景观和当地的风土人情，令人感动。
It’s a home stay hotel. Wonderful service, The owner is ready to do whatever he can to help. Tropical trees surround the house and you’ll be waken up with the singing of the birds in the morning. Very tasty breakfast, both local flavor and western.
