Really nice stay

We just spend one night there but we really enjoyed it! The location is really central and the place is nice and clean. Even though we arrived at 4am the host was super welcoming and wasn‘t too strict about an exact check out time. In the morning she prepared a delicious breakfast for us and we felt really comfortable staying there!

Headphones stolen

We stayed twice, the first time was fine. But the second time was an awful experience
One of the ladies woke us up really early 3 days in a row by shouting and then continued to shout for hours
I had my headphones stolen from my bag in the luggage area just before leaving for the airport. There were cctv cameras, but not in that area. It was difficult to check cctv because nobody knew how to use it
Staff continued to be defensive and unwelcoming, I would not return to this place if that lady still worked there
Breakfast included is a nice touch

The attendants were very nice and helpful. The main entrance to the hostel was a bit tricky to find from the ground floor of the building but absolutely walkable to and from Colombo Fort Railway station. It is also close enough to some restaurants and convenience stores. It is clean enough but the room where I stayed had no window curtains. However, each bed has its own power outlets and the bathrooms are inside the dormitories. They also provide clean bath towels for free. For the free breakfast, we were served with some toasts, butter, jam, juice, a banana and a slice of watermelon. This hostel is perfect for people on a budget who have the most basic needs.

Good place to stay in Colombo

I spend my last day in my holiday here. Host mamma 6/5. Very helpful.Example I get last morning breakfast before breakfast time than I leave back to home. I have room inner court than are also very silence even if location are very central. Just WI-FI are slow and not unlimited, but are almost always that price places in Sri Lanka.

Nice Lady, ok place

The lady running the place is super nice and welcoming - she made me tea and also breakfast. The place itself is close to the train and bus station, but the area is a little dodgy. It’s quite small, so you wouldn’t have much privacy, but it has a nice atmosphere to it!
