clean and comfortable room

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make your stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown. Thank you so much.

They had no record of our reaction (that we had paid confirmation through hotels.com. They charged us cash to get a room. (Options in the area and time we arrived extremely limited). Had to try and negotiate an 11 check out at 9 suggested he wanted us out by 10 (place had no other guests). Very noisey all night

Bad experience

The hotel is not very clean, rooms are in a poor condition and there is no WiFi available. A towel was provided only upon request. Breakfast is not available either. The biggest problem though is that the staff did not recognise the online booking I had done earlier and made me pay again.

Here is the place what you are looking for

Rooms are comfortable compared to the prices. Facilities are acceptable and I think this is the right place in Badulla because it is very near to Railway Station, polite staff, Friendly service. I recommend

Good place for one night, but not good sleep quality

Everything that others have mentioned is quite spot on and I can only try and add some additional info here. We just walked in, no booking or such. The checkin is smooth and simple, fill in some info in a guest book, keys, done!
If you request a quiet room, you may get one of about four rooms on the 2nd floor towards the power line (which crosses the hotel, so dont stay here, if u allergic to high voltage cables). Since all rooms are tiled, you will probably have much more noise if you stay on the ground floor - from people above.
Our problem wasnt other people, or th road, but some insane dogs that kept barking for hours about 150m across the back yard. Since the windows have some ventilation grills that cannot be closed, the sound comes straight into your room.
Staff is helpful and kind (gave us a USB charger, and suggested a great restaurant), got up at 05:15h to walk the 5min to the station for the 05:45 train to Kandy - which is empty at this time. Dont bother with reservations!
