I'll be back.

First of all thank the hotel staff for their attention, kindness and work to make our stay wonderful. Super clean hotel, half board for us was enough. For breakfast orange juice or pineapple, latte, toast, jam butter or oil and bun or muffins every day a different thing. Dinner healthy and balanced a first and a second with dessert and also all homemade. Location on the outskirts of Santillna but very close you can even walk. For us it was perfect quality price RIGHT and again thank all the staff for their good work and kindness. THANK YOU

Very mediocre hotel in every way, located in the middle of nowhere.

This hotel is more than a 25-minute walk from Santillana del Mar and is located in the middle of nowhere. In the middle of the countryside, with no shops of any kind. As for the rooms, they are very hot and do not have air conditioning. If they are on the ground floor, you cannot open the windows because you can shake hands with those passing by and they can see everything inside. You can only open one leaf in tilt mode and you do not get enough ventilation. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are very meager; they even cut corners on the breakfast water to save money. The glasses are tiny so that you consume little. In short, if you can and you are a city person and you like having things to do and see nearby, go to another hotel that is better located and less rural. As a positive, you have parking at the back of the hotel.

NOT RECOMMENDED

It is a 3-star hotel that does not come close to a 1-star hostel. If tourism did an inspection, I'd shut him down. It does not meet even the minimum requirements of that category. Apart from the facilities, the breakfast has no variety. There's never fruit. And the meals are similar to the Food House menus, only there's
A single first and a single second. And if you ask if you can change something, they say bad-faced; NO. Anyway: not recommended.

Total nightmare

The worst experience I've ever had. To start, to check in the receptionist wanted to keep our original ID. In response to my answer that I would not leave you my original ID because it is against the Data Protection Act your answer was: we are already with the law. At my insistence because it is a tremendously serious issue, he tells me that I will have to wait for all customers to check in because they also have their IDs. I tell him I'm not moving out of there and I tell him again that it's illegal what he's doing. He gets up and leaves because he tells us he's not going to take care of us, he's going to tell someone else. He comes back in bad shapes and finally does it in the moment. A moment of tension and unpleasantness that absolutely conditioned the whole stay as that lady also attended the restaurant and deliberately ignored us not to serve us. I'm asking you for a bill for the crib we had to pay extra for and you literally didn't feel like giving it to us. Until the last day there was no other person at reception we didn't get it.
The cot at the rate of 12 € a night, is delivered without assembling correctly, and in the previous situation, we would rather watch a video on the Internet than have to claim it. 12€for a plastic crib with the mattress also plastic that every time the baby moved everything sounded, not to mention the heat that made him go through... I think it's a nasty joke, we're talking babies. If they charge for cribs, at least have the decency to make it worthwhile, and invest even in the mattress. Besides, they didn't leave us a towel for the child.
About the rest of the hotel: it is not a 3-star hotel, if I came to boarding house I would say a lot. It's not in Santillana, you have to take the car, unless you want to walk 4km. It is on a busy road, impossible to open the window at any time, both because of pollution and noise, which also does not let you fall asleep well because the windows do not isolate the noise. The beds don't help either, you sink into the mattress and the pillows are thin as a folio. Bed linen will be taken with it from the 70s.There is no hairdryer in the room. The bathroom ceiling chipped. The gel/shampoo is that of washing your hands in the sink, you have to have the shower curtain open to access it. The horrible half board: they don't give you a choice, they serve you food, if you don't like it, the only option is to leave it on the plate. Not to mention the quality of what was offered. Breakfast plus the same, baggie muffins and a toast of bimbo bread with jam and butter, boat juice and coffee with peculiar flavor. At least on Sunday the piece of cake that accompanied the toast was saved. It has certainly been a horrible experience in every way
