A good base to explore from.
A perfect location just a short walk from the beautiful science park, opposite a shopping centre with a supermarket and close to restaurants and bars. We got a €7 taxi to the beach and similar into the city centre, an Uber to the airport was around €20.
The hotel was clean, modern and functional, the staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were average size with a walk in shower and a fridge, but were missing tea making facilities ( which I would consider basic).
The outdoor pool was small but perfect for a cool down and there were outdoor sunbeds and comfortable chairs.
Negatives for me the breakfast cost at €18 per person for us as a family if four was too expensive, we bought some lovely pastries, croissants and juice etc from the supermarket close by and paid that for all 4 of us .
The sauna, steam room and indoor pool was also overpriced for people staying at the hotel at €30 for a couple of hours.

This was what looks like a top notch hotel, but there were some issues. The air conditioning didn’t allow you to alter the temperature, which meant the room never got below 80 degrees Fahrenheit. There is no way to see the temperature or to alter it much. The pool was cloudy with hairballs so me and my daughter were grossed out and didn’t swim. On the other side, the rooms were nice and the building was fancy. I heard a celebrity was staying there. But in the end, when I read air conditioning, I expected temperature control. I have trouble sleeping in a hot room and I wanted to swim in the pool. Knowing that València is hot and the reasons I booked this specific hotel, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Missed change
Ordered some snacks, after more than 45 minutes we had to ask when it came. When it came we only got one dish’s because they didn’t had the chicken fingers. The guy that brought the dish with fish he said do you want your money back? Or will you still order another dish, well we didn’t dare it because we probably had to wait another 45 minutes but the guy at pool bar said you get a free sparkling wine, so nice! But the fish was not warm

Great hotel
This is my second time this year using Primus hotel. Both times I have stayed before and after hip surgery. The hotel itself is a little dated. But having said that, the rooms are spotlessly clean, bright and airy. Air con works perfectly. The toilet and shower were great. There are plenty of places to eat and shop within 5 minutes walk. The best part about Hotel Primus is the staff. So friendly and helpful and nothing is ever too much for them. Will definitely be coming back.

Lovely Stay in the hotel..Staff are helpful. Room size is generous. Location is excellent. We stayed during Fallas and the bus stop to the centre of the city was just around the bend. Very close to Science Museum and everything including restaurants is just very close to the hotel. I recommend
