Expected better for the price paid!

Lower rooms are noisy due to being close to entrance and sensor bell is constantly ringing as people come in or leave the hotel. The breakfast is not plentiful and very basic. A packed breakfast to go is possible and consists of 1 small sandwich 2 fruit one of which was a kiwi which we could not eat as we did not have a knife to peel it, a small packet of orange juice and a butter tasting sponge cake. Rooms are spacious but bathrooms need to be refurbished since shower head and tap don't function. Staff isn't very helpful either. Although there there is a kettle and mugs in the room there are no teabags, coffee, sugar, milk etc. Water is always supplied.

We will definitely come back.

Nice hotel renovated in old house inventory. Location right in the old town with direct access to the promenade by the sea.
At the time of our stay, the sea was very rough and access to the cliffs across the road was blocked. From videos we can imagine that you can swim very nicely in calm seas in the small bay between the dumps. We did not see a wastewater treatment plant and the toilet paper used had to be disposed of in a container.
Hopefully, the sewers will go far enough out into the sea.
Garachico is still undeveloped and very suitable for hiking in the surrounding area.
Breakfast was good and rich. Unfortunately, the breads in Spain are not as rich as you know from D.
The room was not too big.

The hotel is extremely pleasant. Very colonial and comfortable. Nice and warm room. Our only problem was that we had a downstairs room and they all had lights over the door which stayed on all night. I tried to wedge the blind at the edges but it still let in a lot of light. The fridge was extremely noisy and we turned it off at night. The hairdryer only blew cold. The breakfast was just ok. 3 nights was too many for the town as there's not very much to do in the day. You can walk round the entire village in 1 hour.

I feel ripped off.

We were charged €400 for three nights of room in a small room, with a broken bathroom focus, next to the cafeteria where the noise of those who used it sneaked in.
Breakfast four things wrong, rationed. Not to mention that we had to wait for breakfast because there is less capacity than guests.
As a final conclusion the receptionist welcomed us with the smell of alcohol and tobacco,
The only positive thing the ladies who work cleaning and in cafeteria their work is well done.
To be a 4 star hotel I would say it doesn't even reach two, I will take this complaint to the necessary commercial and accommodation establishments since I consider myself scammed.
