Great Diving Holiday

We organised a diving trip to Gran Canaria and came to this resort as a few of our members had been before and recommended! It was an excellent choice! They accommodated all of our diving needs and wide range of levels and abilities! They even helped me extend my depth down to 45m!!! Everyone here is super friendly and great dive guides, I'm still amazed at how they found all the sharks and rays!! The staff were always around to help with any issues and diving and non diving related! They even let us switch around our package so we could celebrate a birthday and university results during the week, even if we may have drank slightly more than we should have... it was a celebration...There was also plenty of time to relax after a days diving in the pool and sun loungers! We ate at the restaurant at the hotel twice and the food was excellent as well! I really hope that another trip is organised here as I cannot wait to return!

Lovely people

Great bunch of guys, really look after you. Detailed training given in and around the pool before you go into the sea.
Once in the sea you have a one on one diver with you at all times. There were a lot of colourful fish but sadly, even our divers said it wasnt the best day, but it was an experince!

Relaxing family vacation

We celebrated our family vacation, now the second time. We stayed ten days.
The apparents are very comfortable, with kitchen, bath room with shower. TV and Internet is also available.
There is also a big pool in the middle of the resort.
A supermarket, restaurants and shops are just 5 minutes away.
The beach is ~2km away.
The resort does also have their own lovely restaurant and a dive center.
Finally to say, we had a perfect vacation and the kids loved it a lot.

Fantastic family holiday

We would like to say a big thank you to all the staff at Blue Explorers dive hotel we have 3 open water divers and 2 scuba divers after our week. The staff are so friendly and relaxed, our family group aged from 4yrs to 66 and everyone of us enjoyed.

Great for everyone, not just divers!

This is a new-ish venture from the people who run the Blue Explorers Diving Centre. The hotel combines 14 apartments with 1 or 2 bedrooms, a restaurant, the Reef Bar and Grill (reviewed separately) and the diving school, with a fully equipped diving centre in the basement, a training pool, a shop and access to some wonderful diving sites 5 minutes’ drive away.
But it’s a lovely hotel even if you don’t dive, with lovely staff, who speak a wide range of languages, great food at drinks at the restaurant, and a friendly atmosphere, so the stranger at the next table is frequently only a stranger for a very short time!
It’s only a few minutes walk into Puerto Mogan, so very accessible and nothing like the impersonal monoliths that are all over the island. I love it and I can’t wait to come back!
