Unfortunately the air conditioning didn't work in our apartment. Whilst we were given portable units, this meant leaving doors open and was not feasible to use in the main bedroom. The staff were lovely and the rest of the facilities were fabulous. However lack of air conditioning had an impact on our holiday, and I am still chasing compensation from the resort.

Dangerous ceiling fans and bad food
Pros: Cleanliness, comfortable beds, large fully equipped apartments (incl. fridge-freezer combo, electric kettle, microwave, and wine opener ;-)), supermarket with an affordable large selection in the immediate vicinity
Con: No shade at the pools; meals in the overcrowded, loud neighboring hotel were of abysmal quality and involved waiting times; the ceiling fan above the bed fell from the ceiling (fortunately not at night while we were lying in it), as it was only attached with one screw; this was fixed, but no apology followed, not even for a checkout delayed by an hour that we had requested multiple times
=> Conclusion: If you book, then do so with self-catering and after a thorough check of the installed appliances

Arrival:
We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, one person was manning the check-in desk and he was so busy having a long conversation with someone that we waited twenty minutes.
Apartment:
Upon being given the key to our apartment and getting inside I was so immediately dissappointed I apologised to my family for booking the place. It was a two bed apartment so tiny and bare it looked like a two star youth hostel. Paint worn through and peeling, tiles cracked, chairs rickety and about to fall apart. The walls were also paper thin, which led to us being woken up repeatedly by people tramping past, slamming doors, and kids ringing doorbells constantly to annoy their parents. Also the WiFi kept dropping in and out.
The kitchen had a kettle (didn't work), a toaster that smoked (didn't use it for fear of setting off an alarm), two cooking knives (both blunt as rocks), and a fridge that didn't get cold properly.
The bathroom was miniscule. So miniscule that the half size bath wasn't easily accessible due to the shower screen, which was part blocked by the toilet.
Ultimately, the only positives of the apartment were that it was clean and had good AC. Also, they quickly replaced the broken kettle.
Amenities:
There were several pools which were clean and kid friendly. Only complaint was the weird club rave/children's music combo DJ at the biggest pool. But that wasn't bad, just bizarre.
The small bar onsite was fine, if you're okay waiting an hour for two sandwiches and two glasses of orange juice, despite it not even being busy. I swear I almost gave it up as a loss and walked away.
Finally, the cleaning staff...clearly good at cleaning (one of the few positives), but do they have to throw the dirty laundry sacks from the second floor balconies??? I'm amazed they haven't taken out a child.
Beach:
Fantastic, perfect, awesome. Honestly a gorgeous beach, well maintained and perfect for children. The bay is so shallow you can walk out fifty metres and still touch the bottom (as a tall adult). The water was warm and calm. We spent literal hours there everyday.
Wider location:
Several supermarkets with limited selections and dubious produce. A couple of restaurants (with several apparently abandoned), all of which did good food and great sangrea.
Largely the whole complex gave off a part derelict vibe. It took us a while to figure it out, but it sort of feels like they started laying things out and ran out of money to finish it. They're adding new things here and there, but some serious renovations are needed.

Nice residence with a few drawbacks
Positive points:
Very friendly staff
Very well-maintained residence, pools and air conditioning are a big plus.
Magnificent beach 10 minutes away on foot
Large and functional apartments
Negative points:
Very isolated complex, the seaside resort seems abandoned, many shops closed.... very, too quiet!
You absolutely need a car but be careful, not many parking spaces!!! Not enough for the number of apartments, we did like everyone else by parking on the sidewalk in front of the residence and we got a €200 fine!!! In my opinion, the local police know where and how to ticket tourists...
No one warned us not to park there.... It's a real shame... It ruined our stay a bit...
For evening entertainment, go to the adjacent hotel on the way to the beach; the entertainment is in French and the staff are very nice!!!

You absolutely need a car but be careful, not many parking spaces!!! Not enough for the number of apartments, we did like everyone else by parking on the sidewalk in front of the residence and we got a €200 fine!!! In my opinion, the local police know where and how to ticket tourists...

Quiet, but enjoyable family holiday
Firstly, I'd like to state that we had a great time. It was me, my partner, and our two kids, aged 2 and 6.
Starting with the positives, the pool area was lovely, with no fighting for sunbeds, and the slides were great fun. The snack bar was lovely and reasonably priced. The apartments are big, clean, and have fans and air conditioning.
Next isn't really negatives, just things to note that we wish we'd known before choosing this hotel.
It is in the middle of nowhere. There are five restaurants within walking distance, although one is only accessible via lots of steps. Honestly, the majority of them weren't very welcoming. On that note, it is very hilly with lots of steps, making it a bit tricky with a pram. The hotel itself has ramps, so you can get around, but you might have to take the long way.
There are not many umbrellas around the pool, only two by the pool with the slides. The hotel itself doesn't have any entertainment or a supermarket, but you can use the sister hotel, Sol Parc, which is a 5-minute walk away. This hotel has a supermarket, kids' club, entertainment throughout the day and at night (although it wasn't in English), a splash park, more water slides, access to the beach, and a buffet restaurant.
Overall, we had a very positive experience, but 1 week was definitely long enough.
