Beautiful hotel, with breathtaking views.
We have been coming to this hotel since 2018, immaculately clean, the staff really make this hotel.
Warm welcome from Reception team, very professional with lots of knowledge. Mar, Oljii, Sara, Antonia and the rest of the reception team amazing service.
Amazing breakfasts, with views over Port de Sóller Bay.
Restaurant produce amazing meals using local Mallorcan produce.
The bar staff are incredible, great mixologists. The best Red Sangria in Mallorca.
The views are Breathtaking, recommend booking a Sea View room, to waken up, hearing the sea gently lapping on the beach.
Amazing sunset views.
Such a stunningly beautiful area.
Beds incredibly comfortable, we get such a good peaceful sleep staying at Esplendido.
We will definitely return.

The classic with style
Traditional hotel, right by the sea - perfect garden with 2 pools, laid out on terraces directly on the slope with the most beautiful view of the sea. Uniquely well-maintained, top service!

Lovely couples escape
We escaped without the kids for a long weekend.
Exactly what we needed, perfect location, refined luxury, excellent service, lovely staff, calming atmosphere (and lovely smell throughout the hotel!).
And THE best daily buffet breakfast!
Oh AND the gym spa area is amazing…we did not expect to have that in a boutique hotel!

Very Disappointing - Don’t Judge A Book By Its Cover
We usually stay at the Es Port Hotel in Port Soller but after having a few drinks here several times we thought we should give it a try as the hotel is directly across from the beach and the views are amazing.
Location is perfect, facade looks very nice, very well kept but unfortunately the positives stop here.
Reception was pleasant enough and we received a card for a welcome drink
Cava was one of the drinks and I asked if I could have Cava Rose - the waitress wasn’t sure if that was possible but she would ask the manager.
I assume it wasnt possible - probably much to expensive to be given Cava Rose so I had regular Cava probably 2/3 full without explanation.
The unfriendly waiting staff set the scene for the rest of the holiday which was 4 days.
This is an expensive hotel and the disappointment started there.
I booked a standard room with sea view terrace and was very disappointed to find we had an extremely small room with nowhere to put anything.
No drawers, very little wardrobe space, nowhere to put anything - and negotiating so where for our luggage.
Mattress was only a topper as shown in the photo.
Shower room was dated, tiny space for the toilet and dirty tiles.
The terrace also disappointing - Chipped tiled table to use and the only way you could see the sea view was if you stood up and leaned over the balcony.
Breakfast was also a disappointment
The breakfast room is at best described as a cafeteria.
We went to the breakfast room, no welcome from staff as to how to order food or coffee, so we sat down and had to ask staff how we order food or coffee - they weren’t going to make the effort to serve us.
Some food was cooked to order - I wouldn’t bother - it was not good.
Poached eggs swimming in water, not appetising at all.
Poor breakfast buffet, very few choices for the €40 they charge - I really wouldn’t bother with breakfast here. Very noisy, staff clattering dishes and cutlery - not a good experience at all.
Also, we hadn’t finished breakfast when workmen were shown in by a staff member and started discussing work to be done
Due to the breakfast being so bad we didn’t risk booking dinner.
Food and drinks here are very expensive and not worth it.
Pool area ok - nobody I saw eating or drinking - too expensive and also the staff couldn’t be bothered making an effort.
Also, I always go away for my birthday - this is THE ONLY HOTEL I’ve been to that didn’t send birthday wishes and a bottle of wine!
Yes , the hotel presents a very nice facade and views are spectacular but that’s it.
That alone doesn’t make a holiday
