The pleasure is at the end of the track!

Bohemian-style hotel in a beautiful setting reserved for those who appreciate tranquility.
Several hiking options for those who do not dive with the hotel club.
Simple but comfortable rooms and good dining made with local products (expensive if you are not on a meal plan).
The staff is friendly but sometimes a bit lackadaisical.

cala joncols

The hotel is "nice" but far from everything: the road is difficult to navigate for low cars.
The positives: quiet, very beautiful view, and beach access. Very nice decor.
The negatives: The restaurant menu is absolutely overpriced: I had the most expensive salad of my life, and the price of the desserts is worthy of a Michelin star.
The room is not cleaned every day despite the high nightly rate.
There is no bottle of water in the rooms, the tap water is not drinkable, and the filtered water is charged!...WTF?
No wifi in the room - room location 40 is very noisy in the stairwell.
In short, a pleasant setting but you absolutely need to plan for a 4x4; bring water bottles and snacks if you do not want to be overcharged at the restaurant menu; however, the half-board offers good value for money, and the breakfast is acceptable. The staff is pleasant.

Good for 1 or 2 nights but not more!

Beautiful location, but it is reached after a difficult access (dirt and narrow path). It is better to have a raised vehicle.
The establishment does not fulfill all its promises as one must accept swimming in a non-filtered and unclean pool.
The cuisine is excellent but expensive (the establishment relies on the fact that in the evening you are almost obliged to dine on-site since taking the car and returning at night is very complicated, as it is already the case during the day).
The rooms are comfortable but not well soundproofed.
Boat shuttles are only possible if 5 people are interested; otherwise, you must pay for 5. And the rates are again higher than those in Cadaques!
The spa is not always available either.
The manager and the reception leave much to be desired in resolving the encountered issues.
In short, improvements are needed to fully satisfy the clientele.

Very positive and medium

Ideal for a return to the roots, the setting is really beautiful and the outsides of the hotel very nice.
On the other hand the access to the hotel is still painful, the dirt track is long and the passages to two cars are sometimes just right, the toilets are in the bathroom that had been redone with a window that overlooked the room, it is quite special ... You can hear visions of the room but fortunately for us there were people who were paying attention. The wifi struggles to pick up in the room and there was no TV (it was maybe mentioned but I had not paid attention).
