Simply perfect

Weekend in Pablo Neruda room. Just say that the setting, the decoration and details inside and outside, are amazing.
Plus Tatiana's breakfast and attention, 10.
I'm sure we'll be back.

Spectacular decoration in rural environment

I have stayed in this old mill in Ponientes Cantabria and have been surprised how Interiorista the magnificent Concept they have developed in a rural environment, enhancing the nature of the environment and the number of decorative details that captivate you.
The accommodation is comfortable, huge bed and very clean. Dinner in August in the mill gardens by the lit fireplace and the refractory wood-fired oven where those delicious pizzas were cooked is speechless. Very natural and super complete breakfast. A great surprise, to repeat and recommend.

A hotel with quality campsite/hostel/hostel services

Book this property from 14 to 19 August, for its apparent locational attractions, facilities and services as a certain luxury hotel (if we are guided by its price of €175 per night). Our disappointment was great as the services are of minimal quality.
The old mill building and meadows, very attractive, but that ends on the bright side.
The so-called hotel apartments are nothing but dark rooms, which are not cleaned daily, nor are beds made. They have a small kitchen cupboard. Somewhat sinister decoration -in black- and very doubtful cleaning. Lamps and accessories, from Chinese bazaar, as well as cutlery and crockery. In the bathroom, very worn towels, no curl. In the midst of the tremendous heat, bed linen with thick duvet long hair... We were provided with a small fan absolutely ineffective for the external 39 degrees.
It lacks wifi in the rooms and only at the reception a minimal signal is received, which does not allow downloads if there are more than a couple of users.
Personal attention to the guest goes from an excess of familiarity to barracks impositions. For example: breakfast, at 9 o’clock and don’t delay me... Guests’ cars are parked 150 from the hotel, in an unguarded field, while those of hotel staff fill the good squares near the hotel.
The gastronomic section has no better consideration. Breakfast is more than basic: buffet with pot coffee, dry sausages and a curious display of fried eggs (cold). The Dinner Service is in an attached canteen, which seems to be outsourced to a group of girls who cook pizzas and some simple dish and who do not provide a purchase ticket, but a pencil paper. During our stay I was completely occupied by the users of a nearby Polientes campsite. Here, by the way, you were also scolded if you didn't show up on time, like at the barracks...
At checkout they do not give invoice, which I have claimed and which they say they will send me, but which has not arrived after 12 days. Something very irregular.
In short: unpleasant stay, unprofessional services and ramplons. Establishment that seems and sells luxury and comfort and unfortunately stays in a simple, but expensive, camping hostel.

A hostel for the price of a four star hotel

This is truly a lovely property by the river Ebro and in the lovely valley of Valderredible. On arrival, the huge, rolling lawns and the handsome old mill lift your spirits. However, they soon fall as you enter the musty smelling building, decorated in heavy, black furnishings and hangings.
Our "superior" room was spacious, with a tiny cupboard/kitchen and the bed was comfortable. However, there was no air conditioning (and the outdoor temperature was 38ºC), the bathroom was old fashioned and basic and all the fittings were of very poor quality (plastic lamps and cheap plates etc). The worse feature was the need to dispose of soiled toilet paper in the bin rather than the toilet bowl. The bin wasn't emptied for over two days. Indeed, the cleanliness of the place left much to be desired.
The rooms do not get serviced, as we had booked for 5 nights we were told, as a great favor, that the sheets and towels would be changed once. Breakfast is underwhelming to say the least and be sure not to arrive 5 minutes after your allotted time or you will be scolded! The "dinning room" is a large outdoor hut with plastic tablecloths and everything has been prepared before, so the fried eggs are cold and the coffee and tea unappetizing.
The only restaurant available at night is a cantina serving pizzas and a few other simple dishes.
This place has so much potential and there are some nice ideas, such as the glass floor over the river (which runs under the building) and tables dotted around the grounds. But these promising features are ruined by the poor quality of the installations.
This is also a campsite (for "gramping") and would be fine enough if we hadn't paid over 170 euros a night, the most expensive place on our trip and undoubtedly the worst. We found it so depressing we left two days early.

A little gem

I cannot believe some of the grumpy reviews on the site . This is a little gem. We arrived from a 5 star place in Bilbao which was pants . Molino is quirky , friendly , comfortable and has a sprinkling of magic . Staff a delight . First night in tent since pre our five kids . Made us feel young again
