I haven't been so surprised by an establishment in a long time.
I went with my partner to spend Saturday day in that beautiful setting and the night in Santa Rosa... and we decided to stay one more night despite having to hit an early morning to get to work on Monday.
They gave us and offered us all the facilities, the huge room with access to outside area, very comfortable bed, clean bathroom... we were delighted and have already been rebooked.

Beware! Fraud in Santa Rosa Pension
Beware! Fraud in Santa Rosa Pension!
Avoid this place at all costs. I was charged three times for this reservation, and after many wasted days, I only managed to get one payment back. Here is my story:
When I booked this accommodation, I had to provide my Ukrainian credit card information to continue with the reservation. However, it was clearly stated on Booking.com that "You don't need a credit card. Pay for the reservation at the property". Then, on the day of the check-in, we arrived at the Pension (21.09.2022) and met the host. She mentioned that she would charge us with the credit card. Because we did not want to be charged in Ukrainian currency, we explicitly rejected this form of payment and asked to pay with cash. We did spend 28 euros in cash and continued our visit to the city.
After a few hours, I received a notification that my credit card was charged 28 euros. We contacted the host immediately, and she said she would refund us only 25 euros because she had to pay the 3 euros Booking.com fee. We disagreed and told her we needed a receipt for our payment to start a refund procedure directly on Booking.com. After some arguments, she only gave us the receipt charged to the credit card, not from the cash payment. Later that day (on 22.09.2022), we contacted Booking.com reporting on the issue that this owner charged us two times. Finally, we provided all the supporting documents required by Booking.com. In parallel, we tried to contact the property by phone for several days; however, we never got a positive reply, or our calls were not answered.
The worst happened a few days later, on 24.09.2022, when I was charged again on my credit card for 28 euros from the same Santa Rosa Pension. I can believe that the first time was an honest mistake, but the second one has to be a deliberate rubbery. I reported this situation again to Booking.com. After many attempts, wasted days, and endless calls, I finally got a refund for only 28 euros, one of the three payments I had made. Booking.com customer services inform me that the host of Santa Rosa Pension states that she doesn't remember anything about this situation. Therefore they can only refund us the second credit card payment.
At this point, it's not about money at all. I want to warn everyone traveling to Samos to avoid this place. Yes, it's cheap, but it doesn't worth it still. And who knows if you won't be charged 2 or 3 times for your accommodation.

PERFECT.
I have been here with my partner since August 13 and we haven't have any problems at all. The host is a very helpful lady, always there for you. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Barbecue area with hammocks and a nice river beside good for swimming. Can't say any more nice things about it. Just perfect.

Clean super host bed comfy we loved it!!!
We started our hiking from Samos and had a wonderful 1st night. Bit old fashion place but clean comfy with all what is needed. Host adorable.we arrived very early morning 1:00 am she had left the key for us. We are very thankful. Excellent ratio quality price. We highly recommend it.

Una parada en el Camino en un sitio precioso
Estuve en julio de 2020 en esta pensión con mi pareja. Para ser una pensión/hostel de peregrinos, estaba perfecta, limpia, con la cocina un poco vieja, pero con todo lo necesario para hacerte un desayuno y seguir adelante. Nosotros nos alojamos en una habitación de abajo, enorme, con cama de matrimonio, baño privado y acceso a un jardín privado para sólo esa habitación. Un lujo por el precio de una pensión. La anfitriona fue muy amable y nos recibió muy bien. La pensión justo en la orilla del río Samos, un paisaje fresco y muy bonito para hacer pequeñas o grandes rutas, o continuar camino disfrutando de las vistas.
