Good, honest accommodation and food

When following the Ebro downstream, Polientes appears as something of an oasis after a number of tiny villages with no pit-stop opportunities. A couple of inviting bars at the side of the road set the scene and "The Old Prison" (for such it is) does the job of providing a decent room and shower, a good, traditional evening meal, and a memorable breakfast with all the fried eggs you could ask for. Marcela, who seems to run the whole show, is knowledgeable and helpful. It's at the side of the road, but traffic is so light that a good night's sleep is no problem. Good value.

Simple comforts

Small hotel in rural northern Spain. We stayed as part of a 0ne week cycling trip. The proprietor was very friendly. The rooms were small, simple and clean. The bar next door was a perfect place for an aperitif before the evening meal. The evening meal was simple, tasty food - salad, pork and fried potatoes, creme caramel - that was perfect at the end of a long cycle ride.

Aupa.. sitio muy bonito .limpio y Marcela un tesoro de maja..pueblo pequeño pero.lindo. hay pocos restaurantes pero el ke hay es bueno y barato.. esta de habitación limpia y salon del desayuno muy cuidado. Los desayunos son buenos . Nad de lujos pero todo rico

Pasamos un fin de semana increíble.tanto el trato como la limpieza inmejorable.Marcela es una persona encantadora y súper atenta.desayunos como en casa.tiene un patio súper acogedor.muchas gracias.volveremos

De lo mejor del valluco!

Da gusto alojarse en sitios como éste. Está todo súper limpio y más ahora en los tiempos que corren. El desayuno casero e inmejorable. Sigue así Marcela, nos volveremos a ver.
